   Really enjoyed the meal, great service. Wasn't very busy at the time of our visit. My friend had a problem with a biscuit which s a fishing for. The staff were very helpful and concerned, but he was fine. I really enjoyed the ambiance and the photos of all the trains and the models of trains above the bar which was close to our table. We had a great view of the crossing and I hoped to see a train go by. Unfortunately it wasn't meant to be. The meal was delicious and served quickly. We both chose chilli con carne with cheese covered nachos. But there was a varied choice to choose from the lunch menu. The step was quite steep getting into the station tavern. There was plenty of car parking which was a gravel surface.

   We were let down due to arriving late by a different pub. Whilst looking around for Sunday lunches I came across this little gem. Nice old English pub. Basic traditional menu. Pricing is clear. Welcoming and Lovely customer service. I enjoyed their roast it was just right. Everything was clean. Parking available. We would gladly visit again.
