Deeply disappointing experience! I cannot recommend this firm. I instructed Bennett Oakley for a straightforward conveyancing matter, clearly communicating my timeline from the outset. Over the course of four months, I encountered repeated delays, lack of proactive communication, and multiple instances where I was provided with inaccurate and misleading information about the progress of my case. Despite raising concerns early on, there was no meaningful improvement, and I ultimately had to initiate a formal complaint and transfer my case to another solicitor to avoid further delays, financial implications and damage to my transaction. This has been a highly stressful and frustrating process. I would strongly advise others to avoid instructing this firm.
