I've just got back from a fantastic weekender run by Urban Tango Nights in Swansea. It had great people, classes, music in a fantastic location.
My partner and I have been going to weekly classes and practica for about 8 months now, and love it! Neither or us had danced before but we were quickly able to participate in Milongas and the Welsh Tango Festival. Chris and Alison are great teachers and there are always a real mix of experienced dancers and new comers which is really helpful. There’s no need to go with a partner and the classes use the taxi system so everyone dances with everyone. We’ve made some great friends at the classes and anyone from the tango-curious to experienced dancers should give it a try!
