   Management of The Bold Dragoon should be very proud of their staff. On an exceptionally busy evening with the restaurant full to capacity staff produced delicious food and were unwavering in their attention to ensure everyone was happy. Restaurant waiting staff have a difficult job and these lovely people were so calm, helpful and friendly. Lovely place to eat.

   Having ordered lamb I was informed that when the chef sliced it he was not satisfied with the standard. Dione the waitress gave me the choice of changing the order or waiting for another lamb to be cooked, which I did. The second lamb was perfect. Congratulations to the chef for not serving a substandard meal and Dione for keeping me informed of progress. My partners chicken was also excellent. A lovely restaurant and excellent mood music from the lady playing piano. As a bonus when the bill came price of the lamb had been taken off due to the wait. Highly recommended and Dione for being an exceptional waitress.

   Last night I visited The Bold Dragoon restaurant for the first time, and I was truly impressed! You know who makes the atmosphere special? Exactly — the staff! Two wonderful young ladies, Nikki and Dionne, welcomed us with such warmth, smiles, jokes, and kindness that it felt just like home. Thank you both for making my evening so lovely! The interior design is amazing — the white royal and the fireplace completely won me over. And the rump steak… mmm… absolutely delicious! To finish, the chocolate desserts and crunchy lemon roulade were simply irresistible. Highly recommend this place — for the food, the atmosphere, and above all, the people!

   It's quite a large pub but tucked away down residential streets It's rather functional with sporting photos and memorabilia. Lacked atmosphere after 9 on a Thursday No telly or machines but they were playing some decent music 4 real ales. 3 names 1 local. Could support local breweries a but more. Often better than ship of ghosts of bar of doom. Had Landlord Proper Job and Pride tonight. I'm betting itscavhoid locals gossiping place at weekends Top marks to young barman. Asked if I had a CAMRA card for 10% off!

   Six of us went for my wife's birthday meal. She uses a wheelchair, which was not a problem. She is also vegetarian. Asparagus starter without egg, Aubergine tomato curry, warm chocolate pudding with custard. Washed down with G & T. She enjoyed it very much. Only one member of staff, looking after us, did a superb job. Rest of us had either cajun chicken or lemon & ginger chicken, which was all good. Orange chocolate pudding & ice cream worth having ago. In all we had good time. Thank you.

   The people were incredibly rude. Staff gave priority to locals despite standing for a good 10 minutes waiting to be served a drink. All felt highly uncomfortable. Avoid!

   The menu is good British pub grub. The sweet chilli chicken soup got a big thumbs up. The side dish of chips was huge and the pie was lovely. Four of us left after two courses feeling fat, full and happy. Can't review the puddings as no one could manage one!

   Recently had a refurb and it looks and feels great. Lovely family pub with a nice garden good service. Even the normal clientel seem helpful and polite. Great place to take family or friends or a night out with the guys. The split bar is great for splitting customers in to the areas and mood they feel at the time! The one negative is that it is expensive compared to others in the area
