A very enjoyable visit to a welcoming village pub, serving independent ales and loverly Tapas. The wood burner was going and the dogs given treats, a great mid way stop on our walk. Thanks to Kay for making our visit that little more special.

Really good tapas food served in a relaxed and cosy atmosphere with friendly staff. Everything is so tasty! Give it a try, its good to have something a bit different from usual pub food. Well priced too. We will definitely be back!

Our first time here and we loved it. Beautiful little pub, great service and the tapas was delicious. We'll be back regularly - great place to bring visitors and such a relief to find somewhere local that's doing something other than the usual pub grub!

Visited for tapas - the food was absolutely delicious, presented really well and service was good however the atmosphere in the pub felt very mismatched. The restaurant was nicely decorated and was comfortable however the adjacent bar area was packed full of people shouting and swearing, and there was very loud music on. It felt quite a strange experience! To pay the bill and leave the pub we had to fight our way past all the people at the bar which was not ideal. Whilst the food was great this has probably put us off visiting again.

Great little pub with good beers and excellent food.

Friendly welcome and service. Sunday lunch beef was amazing. To assist in increasing throughput it would be worth installing a pub direction sign off the main road to help win new guests.

As a skittles team player that visits when we have a game here it always feels disappointing with food served. The first game we had here was sausages and chips but there wasn't enough food served and the home team went hungry. This time there are only cold bland white sandwiches and we have 3 celiacs on our team. Out of all of the team games it's the most disappointing catering and I feel bad for how many on our team went hungry. We weren't even given plates for the sandwiches, the home team here seemed so embarrassed about it. Doesn't make me want to come back as a customer outside of our matches even though the pub actually seems rather pleasant and seems to have good food and reviews. It's really a shame.

Lovely meal and atmosphere, just what you want in a country pub. We stayed in the area on the weekend of the BritishGP and were made very welcome, we both enjoyed our food, the wow burger was WOW!
