   I am very satisfied with their customer support. Actually the quality of their products is excellent but In one case I bought a Restube swim buoy and sent it as a gift to someone in another country and later found out that the dry bag part was leaking , they refunded my money without me being able to return it to them. This was great and I highly recommend buying from them. Mohammad

   Not a review I was expecting to ever have to write about Escape Watersports as I have received a very poorly packaged carbon paddle that suffered damage during transport due to the poor packaging, only to then be told that this is how Escape Watersports package their items. Photos attached Safely receiving a fragile item like a carbon paddle seems to be pure luck of the draw. Cannot recommend purchasing anything that might get damaged during shipping from them. A very disappointing experience from what I regarded as a very good shop. Purchased a Werner Cyprus carbon paddle with next day delivery. On arrival, the box had clearly suffered a few knocks during shipping, which unfortunately is not too uncommon. When I opened the box, I was very surprised to see that the paddle was in the box with only a plastic bag half covering the paddles and no other packaging or bubble wrap. On inspection there was some minor damage but some that seemed structural. I contacted Escape Watersports, as I had hoped that this had just been an item that was poorly packed and had suffered damage during transport. After several emails back and forth, I am being told categorically that this is how they pack their items, there was nothing wrong with the packing and that they were unwilling to ship me a replacement item that had been checked before shipping and with some bubble wrap for protection. They have offered me a refund, thus the 2 stars, but that still leaves me without a paddle and plenty of time wasted. Overall the most concerning aspect is the attitude of the staff to deal with a problem, the irresponsible approach to handling fragile items (carbon)

   I recently purchased a pair of wetsuit pants for paddle boarding which were sent out promptly via Royal Mail. Unfortunately, due to the ongoing mess with Royal Mail they did not reach me and were assumed left outside a neighbours property but did not surface. I contacted Beckii who dealt with the situation immediately and kept open communication while we tried to locate the missing item. The resulting outcome was that they were lost so Beckii kindly sent out a replacement pair straight away which were received safely. This is how all online stores should treat their customers. A first class service that I would highly recommend.

   Ordered a Christmas present back on the 2nd December. And the courier tracking system indicates they still have not received it. On contacting escape they have been of little help. Very frustrating.

   I’ve bought loads of stuff from Escape now, including a Wilderness Systems kayak, paddling clothing, and accessories, and have always been very happy with their service. Items are always dispatched very quickly and on the occasions when I’ve had to return things, the refunds have been processed quickly (you do have to pay your own postage to return them though).
