   I like supporting local businesses who employ local people. That's why I didn't even consider some other brands I came across. I wanted to know a little more, so gave the team a call and Keith answered all of my questions so I went straight online to put my order in. He called me right back to confirm I'll be getting it tomorrow (a saturday) and gave me an upgrade. You wouldn't get this level of human interaction for a larger faceless corporation.    It was fun at first but now I think it’s Rubbish - Had mine for a year - only rode it about 50 miles - lucky if the battery lasts 12 miles on setting 2 and not using throttle. The electric drive only responds to pedals rotation speed and not torque so pedalling from a standing start up a hill is very difficult with no assist and if you use the throttle to get going the bike is so poorly balanced that it tips over backward with the motor torque dumping you in the road. The small wheels make it quite unbalanced on anything but the smoothest roads and you have to be really careful to avoid pot holes, metal work, or traffic calming bumps. Parts corrode, break, or fall off, the chain creaks and clicks, the pedals squeak - the tyres are always getting punctured because the wheels are so small - trying to remove and refit the rear wheel to fit a new inner tube is a nightmare because of a Heath Robinson assembly of spacers where you have to spring the forks apart to get them in place. It cost more than an Engwee but the quality is poor. When it’s folded there’s no balance point for picking it up so loading it in a car is difficult even tho it’s only 15kg. I’d sell it but I honestly wouldn’t saddle someone with it.

   I have had my eelo 1885 bike for quite a while now and think it is brilliant for just riding around locally but I love he folding capability that enables me to carry it in my campervan and make use of it when I am on my numerous trips around the UK (I am retired). Iv is very practical indeed. What is there not to like ???? I highly recommend it !
