   What a panto! Five of us attended on opening night. This had all the traditional elements of a good family panto with enough enuendo to satisfy those of us more senior in years too. Well worth a visit. Don't miss it.

   We visited on 25th November to see John Barrowman and as usual he was fabulous. We sat in seats B5 to B9, unfortunately two people in our party who sat in B5 and B6 had a restricted view of the screen at the rear of the stage. This was due to the large boxes and teddy bears piled on the centre right of the stage. As the screen played a major part in the show their enjoyment was severly compromised. Very disappointed. Also we found the seats really uncomfortable which surprised us as the theatre has recently been closed for six months for refurbishment.

   The show was fabulous. They say that the seats are the same, but I didn't find them comfortable and mine felt like it was tipping forward. Otherwise everything was great.

   I only go here once in a blue moon and should visit more. It's a great little theatre providing all sorts of shows for the local community. Staff are friendly and events are well organised. We saw Chris McCausland on this occasion and he was brilliant.

   The seats in the stalls are very tight for leg room. If you go upstairs then try and get row J walk way in front so lots of room. The theatre is very nice lots of amenities upstairs and down

   Jack and the Beanstalk pantomime was yet another awesome show. Terry Gleed as Simon, Jack's brother continues to give his all to the show - funny, witty and charming. Couldn't fault any of the cast, performed so elegantly and passionately. So wonderful to see so much engagement from the audience and children getting so involved. Even my teenage girls love going here year after year x looking forward to seeing Aladdin next year!

   Somewhat dated venue. Hasn't changed much since I was a kid in the '60s. Show was good let down by awful sound system. Can be difficult to book tickets as they only open downstairs. If more seats were available, they would probably sell more tickets. Hardly rocket science.
