Amazing gym so clean lovely down to earth you can just train no posers etc ! I’d like to give a big shout out to Josh twice the TRX BANDS been of the high bar and I’ve asked Josh to put them on for me and he’s done it immediately great guy and so polite great gym ,vibe and reasonable for what it offers xxx
Not even worth 1 star. BE AWARE this car park is privately owned and will fine you! I attended a birthday party beginning of March. Went into reception and signed in with my car detail on a sign in sheet and was directed up the stairs by a member of staff. A week later I had a parking fine. After 2 email to llandarcy I finally had a reply stating that because I hadn’t signed in on the machine my registration wasn’t valid. However, I wasn’t told I had to sign in on both sheet and machine. Llandarcy will not take any responsibility for this and want to charge me £30 cancellation fee! Personally I think this is out of order as it was THEIR error. They need to make sure that staff inform all customers using their facilities that they MUST sign in using the machine! Signs in the car park state you must obtain a valid permit. They need more clarity on what is valid and what isn’t!
Had to pick my son up from Ospreys training camp and were told to be there at 15:20 and that we had 1/2 hour to be in and out of the car park. When it became clear the boys were taking ages to come out I attempted to pay the parking but the machine wouldn't take payment (I was not the only one who experienced this). We left the car park after what seemed an age and a week later had a fine of £60 because we exited at 15:51.26 (entered the car park at 15:19.13). When I explained to Civil Enforcement / Creative Car Parking (they are certainly creative at extracting money from people) that the machine wasn't working and that there was a delay in getting the children, they refused to accept this and warned that if I didn't pay then the fine would rise to £100. Carol from the academy was of no help to us either. All in all a bit of a horror story.
I joined this gym 3 months ago and just love it here. It's a fraction of the cost of the one across the road, and staff are far more friendly. Parking is free, just make sure you chat to the lovely reception team and add your reg plate to their lists.
Would only give this 1 star not for the place just the parking, there are top class amenities here but zero parking total joke in the planning dept,
My daughter trains here twice weekly and I absolutely hate going anywhere near the pace, as do most of the people I know that have too. I'm sure the facilities are absolutely fine but what's the point of you're not allowed to park in site, even if you pay you can't park. No point in arranging any sort of sporting activities if you can't stay and watch. They need to sort this out as more and more people are just not bothering with the place. Staff aren't very helpful either when you ask about alternative parking solutions
Not very clean place, not very helpful staff and a nightmare for parking as you have to phone and pay which after taking all your details doesn't work so then you download the app which again doesn't work properly. Staff locked up and left while a football game was still going on taking locker room keys with them. It took about an hour to get there belongs.
Situated on the college campus at Llandarcy. Amazing set up with loads of machines and free weights for all levels. Staff are friendly and no one there makes anyone joining feel intimidated. Value for money all day long.
Initial IT problems when trying to join.. finally kindly sorted out by Jane.. Terrific place, great value, great equipment and staff.. One disappointment...no crunch sit up machine..they used to have one, and I found it great because it takes the stress off your lower back and isolated the Abs...hope they get one back..
