The eduction is fine. HOWEVER the prices on food. APPALLING. £5.50 for 2 chicken skewers. Nothing else just two chicken skewers with 6 nuggets on it. Nothing else. No Drink and no sauce. I could buy a real life chicken for that.
Just finished my final 2 year course within this college, studied L3 National Diploma in Business Studies. Honestly dissappointing college, unsupportive for my first year and was a complete cram year, all of it was rushed and disrespectful of students with even certain lectueres not providing proper introduction and information to provide needed guidance to pass the modules. 2nd year was the worst of the worst, considering my already prevelant issues this college was unable to support much but with the unqualified lecturers in different sectors teaching business, disorganisation being the primary factor for many students grades being sacrificed and lack of care withon Welsh Bacc certain areas of the course to let students work independently with their own unique work. Overall this course was so much about quantity than quality and disorganised and unqualified in delivering. This needs to be reformed ASAP, for now I would not recommend this college for BTEC.
I have to say the receptionist and admin team could be a lot more helpful. The multiple times i have rang trying to simply get information for a decision i am making have been an awful experience. Before even giving you the information you are interrogated. I understand the requirements and I wouldn’t be interested if I didn’t meet them. Aswell as being transferred before i get to explain why i am calling. I dealt with Leanne, Amy and another woman and hopefully they can understand that it can be quite overwhelming so when looking for help they could be more attentive. Maybe understand what you offer aswell, anyways, what do i know, it might be helpful :)
I had a nice time on this course it was enjoyable and I sat GCSE here and A level and went to vanilla pod it was really well done and the new since I was there in 2011 well the new extension is really nice a high standard and I like that it was so diverse in my class with people from everywhere. and the mathematics I have learned I will know all my life. the vanilla pod food was well done and yummy a learning welcoming place.
It's a fabulous place. I would recommend this for everyone.
Eternal love and life. I entered the college. I learned the English language and I did not know the letters, but now I know how to read and write, the great merit of the college and the teachers. I love the college and I like to excel in it.
Very welcoming place with lots of interesting courses and learning opportunities for all ages and abilities. I like the idea of access and acceptance of all people. I love studying and I have enjoyed learning in the last year. Will continue to do so, despite the pandemic...
The staff make me feel so safe and secure, they are so funny and make me laugh so much. I'm glad I came back to ILS because it means that a get to spend another year, with the teaches I enjoy
