Website not very good and unable to contact anyone, so they lost my business.

Involved in a crash in December, I advised from outset brakes failed. Claim handler advised the brakes would be tested first to determine if a warranty issue or I’m at fault. This didn’t happen, it wasn’t noted about brakes. Car sat with bodyshop for 3 months due to parts being outstanding, RSA unwilling to chase anything up, try other body shops etc. When I asked RSA about the brakes I was told I had to take this up when I got car back with the dealership. I refused to take car back until brakes issue was looked into. Eventually the original call to RSA In December was listened to and they accepted their mistake. But caused all sorts of delays. I have constantly being stuck in middle of bodyshop, RSA, dealership and ultimately doing RSAs jobs for them to chase things up or pass information on. Now 3 months later dealer can’t find any old errors on car because it’s being delayed so long, so now stuck in limbo as to what went wrong with brakes. I have paid excess on the basis car brakes would be investigated and excess refunded if found to be warranty issue. But now all that looks to be lost because of RSAs faults.

Worst car insurance I’ve ever had. My car got broken into so I phoned them up told rsa everything seemed fine until he asked what job I did, so I told him I was in the Royal Navy and he said ok changed some details and then went on to say that my case would be on hold I’d have to wait to see if my insurance would pay out for the damage and the stolen goods from my car. All of this for forgetting to tell my insurance I have a new job and drive my car to a guarded military base which is safer than leaving it on a street. Disgusting treatment I received. He then went on to say if I did a glass claim they would sort it out quicker but then it meant having to give up hope of reclaiming for the things stolen from my car, having to pay for a hire car to get to work £250 and a £200 deposit!! Do not insure your car with these cowboys just to save a bit of money, try direct line or someone else, I will be changing at the first available time! ALSO ALL THE COMMENTS BELOW ARE FROM STAFF NOT CUSTOMERS!!

RSA underwrites More Th>n - avoid like the plague. Atrocious customer service. They outsource claims handling to incompetent organisations with poor customer service. Don't take out a policy and if you have pray you never need to claim.

I took out a goods in transit policy from this company. Its turned out to be worthless. One of my vehicles was broken into in late July and almost £2000 of stock and tools were taken. The tools were originally purchased by my employee and proof of purchase was provided. After 5 months they have eventually come back with an offer of £430. The unacceptable length of time taken is a disgrace not to mention the offer itself. I have been made to feel like an insurance fraudster and have come to the conclusion that this policy with this company is not worth bothering with. I am in the process of an official complaint. On another point, its interesting to note that most of the 5 star reviews given to this company appear to be from employees congratulating each other for working hard. Not in the spirit of Google reviews really.

Lovely, but one slight drawback to the casual passer by is you may find it difficult to get in without an employee pass. Because it's an office, not a shop or a pub. Why Google asked for a review I've no idea.
