   Can get very close to the animals and have a lovely little cafe with sandwiches and teas. Unfortunately the tiger died in March 2025 and the new one hasn’t arrived as of this review (27th June). Highly recommend!!!!

   Hello folks well I've been going here for about 40 year and I've never seen it so minimal, there's hardly any animals there, gone are the red pandas, only see one big cat but they do a tour of a cage that used to have a tiger, only see one snake, honestly it's very nearly empty, expensive cafe food available. Sorry very disappointed and i love thrigby

   Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens has the potential to be a great day out, but unfortunately, it falls short in several areas. While the grounds themselves are pleasant, many of the animal enclosures are disappointingly small, and nearly half of them were empty during my visit. This made the experience feel underwhelming, especially given the price of admission. The park does have some interesting features, like its elevated walkways, which provide a unique perspective on the animals. However, the overall setup feels outdated and in need of investment to improve both the visitor experience and, more importantly, the welfare of the animals. If Thrigby Hall were to expand its enclosures and ensure more of them are occupied, it could become a much more enjoyable and ethical attraction. As it stands, it’s hard to justify a return visit.

   Great place to bring your kids to see the animals. The big cats are always out and about unlike the other well known zoos we have been to. The cafe was well equipped too and good choice of food and the staff were lovely.
