   Will not use again. Took my car for a mot and passed no advisories. Booked it in for a service 2 weeks later and he told me I had a seized brake caliper, which should’ve been picked up on the mot. Then after chasing him for 2 weeks for the invoice receipt I finally got it only for it to be wrong so I had to wait even longer just to get home and realise he’s put the registration down wrong on the receipt.

   It's a little concerning reading some reviews. I've used Total car care for a number of years with various cars for services, repairs, diagnostics and MoT's. I've always found the mechanics knowledgeable, friendly and helpful, offering an overall Good standard of work. I have noted that when they say that they will phone you, they don't, so just give them a ring back instead... SIMPLES. I WOULD RECOMMEND TOTAL CAR CARE.

   Don't waste time and money on this so-called mechanic. He has no idea about the mechanics! I went to this garage because the rest of the mechanics were busy. The car was only accelerating, the engine was stalling and vibrating very badly! I left her at the mechanic waiting for him to call me, I didn't get any calls. I went to the garage and was told that I had no pressure in one of the cylinders and that it cost me £1500 to repair.Of course I took the car and left. I put one to another person on the tester and it was actually an induction coil and the spark plugs had to be changed! A total of £50 including repair! He doesn't know what he's talking about.

   Slow, had car from 9am for MOT and then call half hour before they close to inform the brakes need doing. Then following day say it's ready to pick up ( after I called them, when they said would call me ) and sat for another 20 minutes while he walked around saying just need to do the paperwork. Will not use or recommend this place ever
