Lovely nursery. As a first time mum I feel assured that my son is receiving a high standard of care. Staff appear passionate and always gives me a detailed account of his day. My son loves going to nursery and since going I can see the positive impact it has had on his development.
5* nursery. We moved down to East Sussex in 2021 and had been doing a lot of searching for a nursery for both of our children. All I can say is how fabulous Bluebell barn is. The staff go above and beyond for the children and really have their happiness and well-being at the forefront of all that they do. There are always opportunities to go into the nursery to see how it works- from playing and reading with your children, to the seasonal fundraising events which staff go out of their way to make a success. The environments are beautiful and purposeful and the nursery are always looking for ways to enhance what is on offer for the children. Most importantly of all, both of my children are happy and feel safe here. Communication has always been good and I just wanted to say thank you for being such an important part of their early years.
Our little boy started Bluebells in May and is attending 2 mornings a week. He will be 3 next month and prior to joining, he had never spent any time apart from us. Hand on heart I can say Bluebells have made this emotional and anxious time, extremely smooth sailing and filled us with total confidence that his well being is their priority. He loves coming home to tell us all about his mornings and the friends he’s made. We have really noticed a change in his development and learning already. All of the staff are wonderful, approachable and kind, they take the time to update you on drop off and pick up, plus keep you posted with photos throughout the day, particularly in the beginning stages- which meant the world to us.
My 16 month old son attends Bluebell Barn. We have been absolutely delighted with the nursery. The staff go above and beyond, they are so nurturing and really want to see the children blossom. Our son's gone from a very timid baby to a confident young toddler and I have no doubt that it is from starting nursery and the support he's had. I echo all the 5 star reviews below!
Choosing a nursery is such a daunting prospect for most parents. It certainly was for us. The thought of handing my child over to strangers to care for filled me with a lot an anxiety. I think I knew instantly that we’d found the right one when we came to look around bluebell barn. The site is amazing, the indoor rooms are well thought out and spacious. And there is a huge outdoor space too. The staff were so nice and took the time to talk through my questions with patience and care. They offer as many settling in sessions as your child needs and my daughter needed a good few to adjust to begin with. They not only do a great job with the children but with the parents as well. I get regular updates and pictures on what she’s getting up to and they put my heart at ease instantly to know she’s in great hands. We’re about 2 months in now and she’s practically leaping out of my arms in the morning to go in. I’ve noticed a huge improvement in her skills since going too and she always seems to come back having learned something new. It’s just amazing to see. I can’t recommend this nursery enough and just want to say such a big thank you to the staff for everything they do. It definitely doesn’t go unnoticed!
Myself and my Fiancee couldn't be happier with the way our little girl has settled in since starting at Bluebell Barn. She loves it, is always so happy to go, enjoys the food on offer and the staff are amazing, particularly Jordan and Rosie. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nursery.
Such a nurturing environment for our little girl to go into. The staff are so caring and adhering to her needs and feelings. She's always happy when it's her nursery mornings!
Such a fantastic nursery! All the staff are amazing, so patient, kind and understanding. Both my children love going, always feel happy and safe and always have the best time! My daughter started at 9 months and we both had a bit of separation anxiety as we'd never really been apart but she settled so quickly and the staff we're amazing! Now have a 3 1/2 year old and an 18 month old who both absolutely love going and always come out happy after having a great day!
My daughter started at the nursery when she was 3 months old, and they have been brilliant with her, even at such a young age! They have been encouraging with her development, listened to us for guidance on weaning etc, and always keep us updated via the app. Sending our daughter to nursery so small was very nerve wracking but the staff were excellent and now she’s 10 months, fully settled and loves going every week!
