Polegate Camera Group enjoyed their Christmas Meal where it had been set up beautifully. The staff were friendly and a good time was had by all in the convivial atmosphere that had been created for us
Came here for a couple games of pool. Both staff are extremly friendly, kind, and all patrons + staff make you feel welcome. It feels lile you are a regular even if it is your first time there. Pool is £1 a game, free on sundays. Price for a pint is wallet friendly, as cheaper than most pubs. More of a Drinking pub, than a gastro pub which gives it a lot more character and atmosphere. The food they serve looks delicious and fresh although we didnt have it. If you are walking distance, a pub to check out 100%. Worth driving to also due to the amount of parking. A lovely, English grown, character driven pub.
We called in for coffee as we were visiting a nearby property that a relative is buying. This is a large pub - plenty of different seating areas. Very friendly helpful staff behind the counter. I would guess that this is an independently owned pub - you don't get service like this in a chain! Very attractive "pub classic" menu. I can't wait for the purchase to go through so that we can all return here for a meal and some drinks. Community pubs like this are increasingly rare. The coffee was good and surprisingly cheap. Thank you!
Wonderful atmosphere from the staff and all the regulars Food is freshly prepared and good value for money Free pool nite is Sunday so come and join us ☆☆☆☆ Quiz night is Thursday come and join this buzzing crowd for meal drinks and quiz. Brill !! Always great visit

Great pub, lovely food.
Although a regular visitor for a beer i have not sampled the food. Went today with my son,daughter in law and 22 month old grandson. We all ate and it was fabulous. Staff were so good with my grandson and food,service and atmosphere was first class. Highly recommend it.
Pleasant local pub. Prices reasonable in this day and age and friendly and efficient staff. Good car parking and the food is good if not Michelin starred. Good range of beers and sports on TV if you like that, also a pool table. A garden to sit when the weather is fine. Good pub for locals and visitors.
