Had a bacon bap and asked for it to be well done, instead I ended up throwing half of it away because it wasn't even cooked. Plus they got my order wrong. Quality butchers but a terrible cafe.

We popped into the farm shop recently and thought we would grab a coffee after. I checked inside the cafe and there was a couple of free tables but we had a buggy so thought it would be easier if we sat on the benches outside,to which all were free. We had a baby and 2 young children. We were sat down for a couple of minutes while waiting for my partner to pay in the shop and then come back and buy the coffees. The baby was eating his packed lunch from home as he is still small and only has homemade food. A lady from the cafe came out and walked up to me and abruptly said are you eating here and I said no we’re getting coffees and she said “this isn’t a packed lunch area to come and sit in” and I said “we’re getting coffees” and she said ok and walked off. After her rudeness we then decided that we would get coffees elsewhere as don’t want to give money to someone that made us feel like that. Need I also point out that the whole outside eating area was free. I wouldn’t even expect to be spoken to like that if it was jam packed but it was quiet on a weekday!

Had 2 breakfasts there this morning. They were Luke warm , sausage was awful, bacon wasn't cooked freshly and I had 4 slices of the smallest mushroom which weren't fresh and we wouldn't go again.

Excellent service, food and drinks were bought to our car as we were taking away. Bacon rolls were lovely. Unfortunately someone doesn't know how to make drinks as the tea was like hot water with milk, and the white americano was stone cold . Hubby actually asked me what it was he was drinking. As we were miles away couldn't do anything about it.

Disappointed. . Unfortunately g ghee's let themselves down we thought , what we had was nice but at a butchers cafe I 100% expect butchers quality sausages on a FARMhouse breakfast @£9:50 - not frozen Iceland ones like I had , I had to ask for my included coffee which she tried charge me extra for , a couple by us couldn't heve tomatoes on there breakfast as they'd ran out ??? Really when the shops right next door

Lovely breakfast, cakes to die for, in a lovely cozy cafè with friendly staff who can’t do enough to please.
