Well what can I say, another epic trip organised by Sport Quest to the Andamans. Their customer service is outstanding and I never had to wait long for a reply of the many question I sent. The trip it self was mega, 2nd time with Akshay and Nargis and his crew from Andaman angler. Again nothing was too much trouble, we all caught Personel Best fish, the memories will last a lifetime. Our last day was an adventure, air Indigo cancelled 1000 flights. A call to Paul Steven’s and Akshay and we were in a hotel for the night with flights booked. This is when experience and team work come into play. If I could give a 10 star review I would Thanks to the teams at Sportquest and Andaman Angler you really have made my year Cheers Stu Leighton

SEA FISHING - JONESYGONEFISHIN ★★★★★
Just Perfection !! Target fish achieved during the 6 days of fishing. The guides Louis and Alec worked so hard to put us on the fish. The Fisherman’s Guest House, Henties bay is something else, hospitality is outstanding, rooms spotless and you are treated like family and the food is fantastic and all freshly cooked. Out on the beaches fishing you are treated to freshly cooked food on the barbecue and various sandwiches, salads etc spoilt for choice indeed and not forgetting some light refreshments (.. nice cold beer !!) I have fished with many people, competitively and pleasure angling but Louis and Alec are top guides and their watercraft and fishing ability is some of the best you will see for catching specimen fish. If your looking for an adventure go to Namibia, Henties bay and experience the desert surroundings and above all the stunning beaches and sea views and also a few fish thrown in for good measure, in a word ‘epic’ .. what an adventure!!!

Second time booking with Sportquest, this time to Rio Marie on their hosted trip. As soon as you land in Manaus you are greeted by an untamed angling rep, who takes you to your hotel and arranges your next day flight to the jungle. Once your floatplane lands you soon find yourself on the mothership, which is nothing short of 5*, food was amazing and the cocktails go down very nicely after a hard day on the river. The fishing was great! Very knowledgable guides, and nothing was too much of a problem for them. Don’t worry too much about flies, as they have plenty at the lodge. I was lucky enough to get the magical 20lb fish. Looking forward to more adventures to the jungle soon, hoping to book Kedjam for 2026 hosted trip.

I’ve been fishing in Norway with Sportquest three times now , just booked my fourth. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an overseas fishing adventure with all the hassle of organising taken out for you. There’s no guarantee in fishing but these guys do guarantee a hassle free no worries trip.

Just got back from kalum lodge In Terrace B C and this review is not about catching fish it took 3days to land a fish ,not for the want of trying as I got smashed by a good steelhead and a huge pink,Thursday on the kittimat fell in due to boot soles on river bottom and broke my rod ,between me and the guide we got it usable and I carried on fishing ,Friday going back to the launch site hit rough water tried to position myself as I was not in a seat and the boat came up and hit me in the coxic, Saturday getting out of the boat it swung round and smashed into my right shin knocking me in yet again it was skinned and my leg and foot went black and blue.carried on fishing pinks and sockeye landed.all in all a good trip ,went to langley on the fraser River sturgeon fishing had a good 4days caught 15 mainly over 6ft but water temperatures were to high, they went off the feed from midday, lost a few, taxi driver taking me to vancouver airport got done for speeding, then home, all in all a good 2weeks adversities can be overcome and fishing is not just about catching fish, this was fishing.

Weeks fishing holiday in Lofoten, Norway booked through Sportsquest. Travel was all booked for us. Accomodation was excellent and the fishing guide was a font of knowledge and worked really hard for us. Defo recommend.

What a brilliant well organised experience. Sportsquest are really open and honest. We had booked our holiday during unpredictable times with the Pandemic, Sportsquest didn't take or ask for any monies until set guarantee had been given by Government on travel but they still held our booking and kept us informed of everything. Booked up for next year already

Have used Sportsquest now for the past 10 years and they always deliver a great service and support. They cannot guarantee the weather so on the last trip we were grounded due to rough seas for one day and had limited fishing on two others. Regardless we still had a great trip and brought home a good catch. I would recommend the use of a guide as they will get you to the best marks.
