One of the coffee machines has been broken for weeks/months. The other runs out of milk/coffee/hot chocolate and overfills the cups. The food always takes far too long to come out. They keep changing their policy with sauces - first you they would bring you a pot of sauce sachets, next you had to ask for them (and were only allowed one person customer), now theyβre in a pot at the till (if we can now just help ourselves, why all the fuss before?). They offer takeaway from the coffee machine but have only had the lids and no takeaway cups for months. The orders almost always come out wrong or with missing items. The digital ordering machine will say an item (e.g., cake, sandwich or cold drink) is in stock, then you work your way down, after already paying, to realise it isnβt in stock (as itβs digital, this really should be easy to amend regularly throughout the day). They are terribly understaffed meaning the little staff that are there are rushed off their feet trying to do the job of 5 people each - I do feel sorry for them and they try their best. The portion sizes slowly decrease as the price increases. However, the food is nice as a whole.

Had breakfast yesterday morning, food cold, scrambled eggs had been microwaved, mushrooms where disgusting, the price Β£7.00, definitely not worth going back again. 1 x male staff member running around like a headless chicken, he didn't know which way to turn.

Food is usually good, served hot and in good time. Fish and chips are surprisingly some of the best I've tried that isn't from a traditional fish and chip shop too! Staff are always friendly and on hand to help with anything. The pricing is good too, inexpensive and decent portion sizes too.

We have been coming here for many years. But recently it has really gone down hill. The staff are lovely and could not do more. But the management are very poor. They have removed or restricted everything they can to leave the bare bones of what the cafe used to be like. Cheap ingredients. Restricted condiments. No swaps - you have to pay to change an item. No atmosphere. Time for us to try somewhere else in the town.

I had a full breakfast and enjoyed it. The service staff were very helpful and friendly, and the price was reasonable compared to others I've been to. Pleasant atmosphere.

Does exactly what it says in the tin. If cheap and fast is what you're after you'll find it here. Queues tend to be long weekend mornings. Love the trolley lockers so you can do shopping then stick the trolley in the free locker while you get some grub. They have started doing black pudding as an extra and are really good at swapping items staff on the tills are always really friendly and can't do enough to help you.
