   6.5 years of extensive and complex orthodontic treatment and double jaw surgery has finally come to and end. I can’t thank Dr Sherlock and his team enough for their expertise and knowledge in correcting my bite and preparing me for surgery, whilst making the overall appearance of my teeth more aesthetically pleasing. It’s been a long process, which at times I never thought was going to end, but I am so happy with the end result due to his perseverance and dedication. I would also like to say an extra special shout out to Nurse Emma and Kayleigh the Orthodontic Therapist who finally removed my braces for me this evening. To say I was nervous about this procedure would be an understatement! I was petrified as my teeth are so much more sensitive since surgery and I’m struggling with ongoing jaw pain whilst it heals. They were amazing and so patient and reassuring, putting me at complete ease. Thanks you so so much ladies! They are an absolute credit to the team! X

   We highly recommend Dr Sherlock. Our young teenager was a very complex case, needing 3 impacted canines to be surgically removed. Dr Sherlock then worked for 3 years to correct and align the teeth and finally make them look amazing. He gave us a fixed price at the beginning which sounded like a lot at the time, but he offers monthly payment plans, which we paid off after 18 months. But he kept going for another 18 months until they were absolutely perfect. He made no money from us during that time, which shows he is dedicated to the best result for the patient, rather than just making profit. Dr Sherlock and his team are always professional, Caroline also deserves a special mention. Thank you again for all your hard work and a perfect set of teeth!

   I have been seeing Dr Sherlock for my treatment for over 2 years. And he has been nothing short of excellent, if I could give more then 5 stars I would. He is wonderfully personable and a perfect professional. He makes going to visit the orthodontist a very positive experience, and for any future treatment I shall be going straight to him, and recommending him to anyone who is looking for expert treatment and care.

   Dr Sherlock is an orthodontic wizard. It was touch and go as to wether the treatment would work as my sons teeth were shocking to begin with. He and his team have worked wonders though and my son is due to have his braces off at his next appointment! I am ecstatic at the results we've had. I cannot praise Dr Sherlock, his team and the Wickford Dental Practice enough. Gold stars all around.

   I developed an open bite late on in life and was facing the prospect of surgery to enable me to eat properly and stop cracking my teeth over time. I was referred to the Smile and Orthodontic Clinic where Dr Sherlock fitted a brace and using amazing 'choreography' adjusted my teeth and closed the gap. This avoided the need for any surgery and I can now eat properly again without the fear of losing my teeth!

   Dr Sherlock at the clinic was excellent with my young daughter who had to have a removable brace to correct a trauma to the teeth which was causing a damaging bite. The results were amazing and my daughter's smile had returned to perfection. Really pleased and highly recommend this clinic to anyone in need of this type of dentistry.
