   This time of year, with all the social events and activities, it's easy to catch something going around. I had been battling a sore throat for a while, thinking it would turn into a cold, and kept pushing through. However, on Saturday morning, I woke up in severe pain—swallowing felt like swallowing razor blades. I checked my throat and knew immediately it was tonsillitis. I called my local pharmacy at 9:30am, but despite being open until 1pm, they were too busy to help. I tried others, but with my voice barely audible, they couldn’t understand me. Luckily, I know Guppy from work with Heart to Heart Home Care in Reepham. I trusted he’d be able to assist me. When I arrived, Guppy was incredibly kind and attentive. Despite feeling awful, I was determined to attend a booked Polar Express event. Guppy, concerned about me being late, managed to fit me in straight away. After a thorough assessment, he confirmed tonsillitis and prescribed antibiotics. Thanks to honey & lemon, paracetamol, and warm salt water gargles, I managed to attend all my planned events that weekend. I’m feeling much better now and am very grateful to Guppy and his team.

   Completely useless, They changed the date of my wife's appointment but didn't tell us, drove all the way from other side of Dereham to get there and they offered no apology. When we asked for a time on the new date they said we would get a phone on the morning of the new date, we said we had childcare issues so we would need to plan in advance. They just shrugged and said well we could ring the day before. Will not be using again and would not advise any one using them either. If they can't even sort out a simple appointment how can they organise people's medication.

   I was late for my Covid booster (traffic issues) so I arrived stressed The staff were so friendly and helpful and the pharmacist who gave the injection was so kind and gentle. Thank you Motts Pharmacy you should be proud of yourselves!
