I’ve been here a couple of times over recent months and the team are always friendly, offer me a cuppa while I have my nails done, and always do a nice job. They charge a fair price and they are much more welcoming than other nail salons I’ve tried locally.
Absolutely awful experience. The nail technician was extremely rough — my skin was left irritated and sore. The nail edges were uneven and poorly shaped, and the whole appointment felt rushed and careless. I paid £30 for what looked like a rushed DIY job. One of the nail extensions cracked from the side shortly after!. The level of unprofessionalism and lack of skill was shocking. I really regret not reading the many negative reviews beforehand — turns out they were spot on. So many people warned about how badly they shape the nails, and I made the mistake of ignoring them. Don’t make the same mistake I did. Avoid this place completely.
"Awful *update photos now added to show wonky toenails and flooding" I needed a pedicure and popped in on the off chance they had availability. A lady welcomed me inside and a lovely young lady did the pedicure for me, I could see the place was quite dirty but tried to ignore that. The pedicure was fine but she used a drill to remove my old gel and the back massage chair was very intense and moved me alot so she caught my skin a little. Once the pedicure was finished I was ushered through to the main nail bar area where a man asked me to sit and asked what colour I would like? I hadn't been given any colour charts so was unsure but quickly decided after being given the chart. Before starting the gel application I specifically asked for my toenails to be super short 3 times as I can stand them long and he said yes and reassured me. The man was crouched in an uncomfortable looking stance and I could not view what he was doing so I had to trust the process. However when he finished I was quickly shown to the till to pay £30 in total and didn't have a chance to look at my feet properly. When i left the shop I looked down and honestly am shocked how bad they look. My toenails are all cut wonky with sharp corners and left still long! The gel application is also flooded in places. Safe to say i will not be returning, i felt uncomfortable and ignored. I have been to the other walk in nail bar in rushden and can say their gel application is much better. *in response to the reply below: I do not wish to offend just offer honest criticism (I have nothing to gain by lying) Unfortunately I did not feel comfortable coming back in to complain as I did not feel it would have been recieved well.
Been coming here for over 10 years now and would not think of going anywhere else. The team are always friendly and lovely, and always take on the challenge of my wacky nail art and colour ideas. Not only do they look after me, but they are great at helping keep my 20 month old occupied when he comes with me and have been since I first brought him in at 6 weeks old. This set is my hen do set and they smashed it as usual. Thank you! See you all again soon.
Really great been a few times had a full set of nails and infills also luxury pedicure all ready lovely ty xx
I had my nails done Thursday(£40) it is now Sunday and the varnish is coming off. I love the colours and the people were really nice. But I am going away and thay will not last till then ☹
I’ve now been here on 5 separate occasions for acrylic nails and gel nail art on top. Each time the team have been polite, efficient and welcoming. The art they’ve done on my nails has been nearly a perfect match to the picture shown, and they are very fast as well! Haven’t yet had an issue with any nails raising or coming off, overall would highly recommend!
