   AVOID THIS SALON - I booked a day off work on Thursday and thought I would treat myself and get my hair done at a luxury salon. What an absolute mistake that was! Not only did the salon ruin my hair, ruined my day off they have ruined my weekend plans as I was meant to be out with friends but I look like a scarecrow! I am so disappointed and disgusted in the treatment I received yesterday. Susana was miserable and looked like she didn’t want to be there. She never once spoke to me, told me the process or even tried to chat to me like ask if I was doing anything nice at the weekend etc. She never asked if I wanted any magazines and I never saw her for ages. Staff as soon as they do a bit of hair scurry off and hide out the back for ages leaving customers all alone. When I was sat with the black tint on (which was apparently meant to brighten my blonde hair) I was sat there all alone with black tint running down my face, neck, in my eyes and onto the floor for 30 minutes I was having to wipe it with my hands!! No towel or staff to check if I was ok. I know I don’t have nice hair to start with but I was made to feel like I was a burden for even being there! Not the Jonathan Brown service you use to receive many years ago it was top notch, staff were smart and so friendly and helpful and couldn’t do enough for you. I am not sure what has happened but everyone looks very unhappy and like they don’t want to be there, so quick to hide out back!!!! Even the salon itself looks tired. I appreciate that the smashed window is not your fault and these things cost money but it was smashed on the 24th December and it’s still not fixed 10 weeks later. These a black patch looks like mould on the wall opposite where you get your hair washed. I entered the salon at 12.50pm and left at 5.50pm with my hair looking the worst it’s even been, in tears and late for picking up my children. 5 hours in what was suppose to be a LUXURY salon and I look like I’ve tried to bleach dye my hair myself at home!! I have lost total faith in your salon and I am very unhappy and upset

   I would highly recommend this hairdressers...wonderful, friendly and fantastic service. I had an initial consultation to discuss options on my hair as had same long hairstyle for 35 years and wanted to have a style completely different. They have mad me feel so relaxed and now have shoulder length with style and feel like a new me ❤ thanks to everyone working there

   Just had my first visit to Jonathan Brown and I cannot rate him highly enough. He advised me on the colour and cut that would suit my difficult, fine hair and he was absolutely spot on. I am so happy with the results, I walked out of that salon a new woman!! Thank you so much Jonathan and team for making my visit so pleasant, looking forward to seeing you again.

   Had an appointment with Suzanne what a lovely friendly place to visit. Really pleased with the cut, and when washing my hair I was given a mini head massage which was sooo relaxing.... I can't wait to go again. next appointment already booked for a colour. The other members of staff are all very friendly and cheerful and very professional in their customer care.

   Used to be so friendly /relaxed for all ages . Since new staff last year it’s only for the young . The young girls as well don’t want to be doing short old ladies hair . Sadly gold card in the bin unused . Won’t be going back after attitude of talking about clients laughing in the corner thinking we can’t hear them . There are a few older ladies left I’m one of them . Why does change have to always be the worse nor better in businesses .

   I have been living 7 years locally and always I had my hair done in Barcelona (Spain) or Zurich (Switzerland) when I went there on holidays. I had my first hair colour done, in England, in Jonathan Brown by Hannah a couple of months ago, and again today. Once more, I am extremely impressed about the depth knowledge that all the team has in hair colour. I always love the result. Jonathan has an international team and I think this makes a difference. From my experience they have he same level of expertise and professionalism than any of the hairdressers that I have tried during 7 years in the High Street of Zurich and Barcelona. Great team. Thanks Hannah and all the team for you make me once and again so happy with the result!!
