   This is the third time I have visit Michelle and Katie. They make you feel welcome and they always make ask what you want doing, I have been to a few salon and the stylist tell you what they want to do not ask you or give advise, Michelle will always give advice and ask what I think, I also leave the salon with a smile on my face, know that I have had a brilliant experience. The whole team are so friendly I could not ask for anything else.

   My young adult daughter and I come here every 7 weeks. Each time both Michelle and Katie look at our hair before they start and listen to what we want before they start. What I like most is that they will give their thoughts and be honest about what they think will work for you and will talk with you to discuss adaptations to suit your hair if necessary. Both give great precision cuts. The young ladies who wash your hair give it a good wash all over, I find lots of places miss the back near the neck, and a lovely relaxing scalp massage. Very friendly hairdressers at affordable prices.

Her cut and style of my hair have been excellent, she's even managed to tame the wild beast of a cowlick that I have!    Was given a consultation appointment first to discuss what I wanted and Shell explained everything to me, how much it would approximately cost and she took some hair to do a test and I had my skin test. I hadn’t had my hair done at a salon for about 3 years so was anxious but felt very comfortable and happy after this. At my appointment Shell checked I still wanted the same as discussed at the consultation. I had full head of foils and an in between colour. Shell is very friendly and definitely knows what she is doing. I had my hair cut shorter and blow dried and the colour was lovely. I was so pleased with the result. I was complimented the next day at work as it was such a change but so natural looking and really lifted my pale skin. Strands of Love is a really nice salon with a great atmosphere. Would highly recommend

   I have been going to Michelle for years. It’s so hard to find a stylist that you trust and respect the advice they give to you. Michelle has seen me through many different styles and colours and has worked her magic at getting me from a boxed red dye to a beautiful blonde. She will always give you her honest opinion if you go to her with an idea of what you want. Michelle is so friendly and approachable, I love going to my appointments, it’s like catching up with an old friend. Would 100% recommend her to anyone.
