   By the sounds of other reviews & my own experience don't know where these people got their qualifications from. Tried them first time for a pedicure, it was meant to be 40 mins but was so rushed seemed like the lady wanted to get rid of me ASAP, it was 20 mins and charged me £30. Few days later my toe keeps hurting realised she took my cuticle too back & when I wore sandals it'd keep hurting. Never again

   Went in for pedicure and it was completely rushed. I was running late but called the salon to inform them and they said it was fine. I came in and immediately asked to use the toilet before starting only for the lady to tell me there was no time for that cos she had another customer booked in to come in soon. She did my pedicure hurriedly and it was untidy. There was no single customer that had an appointment come in while I was there as she claimed earlier when I asked to use the toilet. Never going back there again. I wasted my money.

   NEVER AGAIN!!! Would give 0 stars if i could.. Worst waxing experience of my life! I'm going on holiday in 2 days, birthday is in 3 days and I wanted to get my eyebrows, upper lip and chin waxed. Upper lip is fine, chin basically the same as I came in, very little difference and eyebrows.. Awful.. not only has it been rushed and not done properly - they're very thin and look awful. And the cherry on top is that the wax was dropped on my shirt and hair! AT LEAST HAVE THE DECENCY TO TELL ME ABOUT IT! My hair did not make it and ripped out the second I tried to save it at home.. NEVER coming back and cheating on my wax lady again.. only came here as I finish work at ridiculous times and my regular lady was closed. AWFUL! AVOID!!! Wish I could post photos!!

   I have come to Glam beauty previously for a pedicure which was fine. I wanted to treat myself to getting my nails done which I came to glam beauty for. They sat me down and a lady began on my nails. When using a cuticle bit on the drill she was digging into my skin, pressing too hard and was talking to a girl next to her completely not concentrating. She added tips etc and began to lay the acrylic which was lumpy, uneven, and either too close to my cuticle or too far away!! she then began filing and was once again being far too heavy handed which was causing the file to dig into my skin, causing me to pull back a few times. After drilling it still looked too thick on the sides but alas, i stayed quiet. She then used a pink to make the nail look like a pink base for under design. Certain nails looked uneven and some fine, but after three coats i just wanted to continue. Then came the design. She had no idea what a blooming gel french tip was despite me even showing her photos. So i found three different designs. She couldn’t do either three of them, then telling me to just get a normal colour. Which was NOT what i wanted. I then asked if any of the other girls did design to which one supposed ‘more experienced’ lady came over. I asked for the blooming gel french tip which she looked way confused by, and at this point I had been sat in the chair for an hour and fifteen minutes. Seeing that she had no idea what i was talking about i asked for french tip and then a brown blooming gel flower on my ring finger. She did the french tips, which were fine. then came the flower which looked terrible first try. I then asked her to do petals closer together which is how i’ve seen every other nail place do so, yet she had no clue so i once again had to show her a photo. After three attempts she couldn’t do it. I myself am a beginner nail tech and can do a blooming gel flower myself ( i wanted to treat myself into having them done to save me the time ). at this point I was beyond fed up. So asked her to just french tip it and call it a day. I then paid £43 for something i didn’t even want that looks like a 12 year old could’ve done it, also taking borderline two hours. Not only do i now have cuts on my fingers which can potentially cause infection. I have sore nails and will now have to wait before i can get them fixed because I am in so much pain! Didn’t even get an apology. I do not recommend coming here if you want more than simple polish.

   The customer service here is lovely. The two ladies that run it are gentle and polite and you feel relaxed with your experience. I previously went to A&A Nails and oh how I wish I'd come to Glam sooner. It's not a conveyor belt and you have the same person throughout. You don't feel rushed or a nuisance and the nail quality is so good. Your designs look like the photo you take in and you don't get the response of "Similar!" After they have painted them.

Elsa and Christina provide amazing customer service, the salon is always spotless and the colour selection is great for nails! Would recommend to anybody, brilliant salon.
