Always a fun friendly atmosphere and a proper local pub. And the cheapest drinks in the village. Great occasional entertainment as well.
We went to the Broughton to celebrate & it didn't disappoint! The decor is stunning, the food was delicious & the service was fantastic! We were in a smaller dining area which did get quite loud as there was a large group next to us but it didn't ruin our meal. I would highly recommend a visit!

It was our first visit to The Broughton. And aren't we glad that we went there. I can now understand why it is so popular. From beginning to the end we really enjoyed the experience. Booked a table for 2 for a midweek supper whilst cruising down the Trent and Mersey. Fair selection of real ales and typical pub food but tasty, filling and reasonably priced! Would recommend as plenty of mooring nearby and a pretty bluebell wood to meander through to work up an appetite!
Amazing once again, had a fantastic Boxing Day Dinner. The food came out quick there was not sat waiting which is great on such a busy day. Staff were very good. overall another fantastic dining experience.
