Amazing! We visited with our young client who is a wheelchair user and requires modified food. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt so comfortable and welcome. Chef willingly blended food chosen off the menu, and present it beautifully , to allow our client to enjoy a proper meal. We will definitely be visiting for tea on a regular basis. Our meals were also delicious and all of the team were so cheerful and pleasant. Honestly we can not express our gratitude enough for inclusivity, tasty beautifully presented food and an over and above attitude from everyone.

Visited on the way back from Liverpool, lots of spaces on the car park just remember to add your registration on the tablet at the bar, plenty of reminders in the pub, choice of seating by the bar or a carpeted section, quick service and the bar with the option to leave a tab open for more food and drinks, we had the lamb Henry and the small fish and chips both nice, hot and tasty. Would visit again for a quick meal when passing, dog friendly if you have your pet with you.

Great pub, in the centre of town but loads of parking and cleverly landscaped so you dont feel like you are on the road. Dog friendly inside and out. Great food and service. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed the fish of the day. The outdoor area is lovely on a sunny day.

Gorgeous pub with great interior and garden. Super friendly team. Pizzas were fantastic - would recommend to anyone making a trip up/down the M6 as a great pitstop. Lovely walk along the river made it a mini trip for us. Thank you

Loved this place and visited here a lot when we lived locally. We decided to have lunch when we were back visiting relatives. We both had large fish and chips - good Lord!! They land a whale, batter it and fry it!!! Still amazing quality, service, food and very clean.

Lovely spacious pub. Large dog friendly area. Not booked at lunch today but not a problem. Varied menu with lite bites too. Both meals very nice. Bangers and mash and small portion fish and chips. Might return for a chicken hanging kebab. Looked good. Sunday lunch 09/01. 2 course. Starter good portion. Turkey dinner was delish but needed more mash to bulk it up a bit. Sides are available though. Great service as before. 5.85 for a pint of moretti!

Great service. Good menu selection at reasonable prices. Child menu if needed. We tried the burger and fish n chips options. Very happy with presentation and taste! Perfect stop off the M6 rather than the service station. Would certainly return in the future.

Visited this establishment 3 times now on different times and have been impressed on each occasion with the quality of the food. The last on Monday was equal to the other two with 3 other friends and the total bill was just in excess of £50 and all four plates were emptied with satisfaction from the lite bites menu. Shall definitely call again.
