Since moving to the area we have frequented this establishment numerous times. It is very clean, the staff are very friendly and efficient and we have never had a bad meal. It is certainly our favourite new local!

Lovely large pub with lots of outdoor seating and kids play area, needs bit of clean up there was food and menus all over the floor in the area we sat, tables needed bit of wipe over, the dish we had the chicken was delicious but the salad let it down the pudding was yummy.

The whole place looked tired and a lttle worn with scratched and wobbly tables, but a great effort had been put into making it look inviting with the fairy lights twinkling. There were about 3 people in there so it lacked atmosphere. The beer was okay but could have been a bit better. Food was piping hot so obviously freshly cooked which was really good, but as a result the fish could have done with a bit more draining as it sat in a pool of fat. It was not bad enough to complain about. On the whole okay but not good enough to make us want to rush back. I appreciate there is not a lot you can do about the atmosphere if you don't have many customers. We pre-booked as we expected it to be busy on a Friday luchtime and it wasn't.

Hello Ness ★★★☆☆
When I went to the Station Pilot for dinner, I had a 50/50 experience. The service was alright, and most of the staff were good and provided the food on time, but one of the staff when she delivered our starters smelt of fresh vape, which was a bit off-putting. The food was okay and did not taste bad, but the burger especially felt dry and in certain areas was burnt. Overall, the experience was neither bad nor good, but more of a mid or a meh.

As a family of 5 we had a 3 course meal. All of the food was very well presented and tasted delicious. Portion sizes were great, there was plenty of food. We received a friendly welcome when we arrived and all staff were friendly and attentive. The waitress was very polite and helpful. We will definitely be back again!

Went on sunday ordered surf and turf my husbands was okay, my steak was chewy and hard to cut left all but a couple of mouthfuls. Told the waitress when she asked if all was okay she responded by asking if we needed any thing more. The service was quick but but not a place I shall go again.

Staff are inexperienced but friendly and attentive. Food was well below standard even for a chain pub. Burger came without lettuce and tomato, steak was full of fat, scampi was all breadcrumbs and hardly any fish, cheese was not melted in Nachos. My daughter's mains was served at the same time as all our starters including hers. Then we waited 45 minutes for the rest of the mains. Over £60 for 2 courses for 4 people drinking only soft drink. Brewers Fayre offers better food and value and that is saying something.
