Lovely place , not the biggest so probably best book in advance . You need your wits about you when parking it's only small with a handful of tight spaces . The Sunday dinner was tasty with plenty of food on your plate with a choice of chicken or beef (£22 or £24 for a mix of both . Not the cheapest but with the quality and amount of food you get there's no need for a starter . A good selection of largers and IPA's etc on tap .

What a lovely pub! There were nine of us including my 8 year old son. We had a proper Sunday Pub supper and I can't say enough wonderful things about the food service and the welcoming atmosphere! When you walk in it just feels like a warm hug! My husband and I had the Sunday roast with Yorkshire. Very traditional, very delicious! My son had pasta and French fries (he is very picky, so we were glad the staff made accommodations for him). Sticky toffee pudding for dessert was next level amazing. Highly recommend!

Food always freshly prepared and delicious. Visited today for my wife's birthday. Ordered 4 different mains for our party each of which were tasty, fresh and piping hot. Recommend booking as this place is (deservedly) always busy.

Top meal! Friendly owners. Lovely beer garden. Really appreciate them having so many vegetarian options, which aren't often provided in country pubs.

Wonderful evening meal at the Crown on Tuesday evening as always consistently excellent. Went for the old favourite Haloumi skewers with salad and chips (their own not frozen) with special curry sauce. food very tasty and portions huge with lots of fresh ingredients. Always usually busy but easy to book. Wide selection of drinks and real ales kept well with good selection (Including thornbridge and titanic) definitely recommended for value for money.

Beautiful food. Friendly professional staff. Extensive choice on menu, no starters but you won't need one, as very large portions. Very good value for money. Only issue is parking, most awkward tight car park ever seen.

Very lovely pub. Only down side is no table service to order. Recommend to book. Sunday roasts were good but portions medium size, not as many sides (ie Yorkshire pudding, stuffing, roasted potatoes). Desserts very tasty. Lots of veggie options and well served so definitely recommend and will return again.

Friendly place . Very busy when we went on a Saturday evening so you ll have to wait for the food but that doesn't bother at all. I had the mixed grill and that was really good . Would recommend the place which has good reviews anyway

Probably the best country pub ever! In over 30 years of eating here I've never been dissappointed. It's still run by the same family and all the staff are friendly and do a great job of making you welcome. All the food is excellent, with good vegetarian and gluten-free options. I can't recommend highly enough.

A very cosy atmosphere with equally cosy food, this place is like eating your mum's best dish in your living room. The bar staff are all lovely too. Only downside is the incredibly tight car parking, but if you get there for when it opens at 6pm it won't be a problem.
