   I moved to Olney almost a year ago (sept 2024) After a previous hairdresser had burnt my scalp in 2020. I spent the first 2 years nervously waiting to find a new hairdresser. Which I did. But after moving 150 mils away, I had to nervously start again. There were a lot of salons to chose from in Olney. Some were so loud I couldn't hear the stylist. Some suggested bleaching my hair. Some were quite rude. At my wits end, I stupidly dyed my hair myself. Big mistake. So I took to searching again. I wandered into Peter Hatters. It was calm, friendly, and I felt heard for the first time. I met Bea. She instantly made me feel comfortable. My crown had slipped and she started work straight away with protein treatments and even took on my step daughter who visits 5 times a year. She listens to what you want. My step daughter has come out of her shell and really loves chatting with her. She also has a new love for looking after her hair. Thank you all at Peter Hatter's hairdressing. Especially Bea. Even when I was in recovery for my surgery, you offered to wash my hair. That meant the world to me. You hear us, you help us adjust our crowns when they are a little crooked, and I always leave feeling relaxed. Exactly how it should be.

   I’ve been coming to Peter Hatter’s Salon pretty much since they opened, and I truly wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair (so much so that I travel specifically from London to come here!). Scarlett is so fantastic with colour, and the whole team are so friendly and welcoming. It’s very clear that all of the team are very skilled and knowledgeable, and Scarlett really listens to what I’m want to do with my hair. I leave the salon every time feeling so confident. Every service I’ve ever had at the salon has felt so high-end and professional, I’d never go anywhere else!

   I've been a loyal customer if Peter's for over a decade and followed him to lots of different salons but since opening his own, the experience has increased 10 fold, I'm heard, respected and educated on how to really care and maintain my hair. Peter is exceptionally skilled in all aspects of hair, I don't generally know what I want in a cut or really colour but he has never let me down, and I always adore what I leave with. He has transformed my hair from long thick unruly and unloved to, pixie cuts, full dye of many different colours and is always honest and kind when I ask for something really silly, like green hair (does not work for my style or skin colour!) I don't trust anyone else with my hair and I'll continue to see him for many more years!

   I’ve been to Peter Hatter a few times now and couldn’t recommend it enough. I see Charleigh, who is so professional and friendly. It’s always difficult finding a new hairdresser as you get so attached to the one you have, but I definitely wouldn’t go anywhere else now! My colour lasted so long and was really pleased with the cut and finish.

   I've never had a hairdresser get my colour so perfect and I can admittedly be fussy! Pete understands exactly what I want even when I struggle to articulate it. The salon is beautiful too. Love that I can have a glass of wine with my haircut. Brilliant salon! Hands-down best hairdressers in Olney
