   Popped in the hastings store for advice and to see if my items was worth anything. All the ladies in there was fantastic! Everything was explained to me and I was surprised on how much I was offered for my items. I even found they did excellent rates on travel.money while I was there

   disgusting price offered 18ct gold omega watch i took in from 1970s weigh 3.5 ounces near 70g , woman behind counter said have to ring head office for watch, now when we got in there she was on the phone to head office for someone else about something else, makes you wonder if its the tactic to get you worked up or something but thats by the by the tactics, what is more disgusting is the girl behind the counter said scrap alone is 5000 or something around that ball park. The she goes through taking pictures etc everything laying it on a hard surface counter face down and everything, probably scratched it i have not looked at it yet. Not once but 3 times blaming the computer for deleting the pictures maybe it did maybe it didn't. Anyway aftwr about half hour an hour she done her pictures and im off had enough she will ring in half hour with the offer. So im happy thinking 5000 its worth 6500 to 7000 scrap really looking on line but what 2000 between a pawn broker and a punter i can cope with that. Wait that half hour and the phone rings, she makes a laughable offer of 2500 :-) All over the front it says highest prices for gold it certainly is NOT the highest prices if they think they can offer half the scrap she said in the beginning and a third of the internet price I suggest go anywhere but here as you will get ripped off here for sure thank you for reading whomever does read this far My name is Ian Gould and i am gladly putting my name on this review as i believe people should really watch this shop, and i also believe the management should buy the staff some masks, as even robin hood wore one of those when he robbed you.

   when in a transaction with a member of staff who was polite and explained fully, a member of staff came from back room asking if i was alright i replied yes in a quiet calm voice she replied good then told me to shut up, another woman came from the same room and came around into public area going to first womans window talking, she left the store waling up and down front door area, i was speaking to staff member dealing with myself chatting and first , the first member of staff kept shouting across store even when another person came in and she was dealing with them asking if i was moaning or what did i say , the manager was wittness to this at the door area and said nothing to staff member, most staff are polite and helpful but when you have a manager allowing her staff member to verbally attack a customer without cause or justification in any way says a lot about this store and H&T pawnbrokers ps need to rate nil but need one to make others aware

   Disgusted with this shop!! Brought a faulty phone and had to return they said they can only place the refund back onto my card and was told it would be in my account the same day...been on the phone to the bank and been in the bank and have been told there is no transactions pending from anyone and now being given the run around about getting my money back and £135 is a lot of money when you havnt got it...not only thatonly that they brought a brand new Samsung galaxy s8 edge of someone while I was in there for £250 and are selling it for £475....AVOID RIP OFF SHOP never again
