I have been going to D'Arcy's for the last 3 years, I always receive excellent service. I would highly recommend there services to anyone.
We took our daughter to get her ears pierced here after many recommendations. We knew at the time it was walk in & we waited just over an hour, that was fine. However when it was my daughters turn the man who does the piercing was rushing, arrogant & very dismissive of the fact she was scared. All he kept saying was he was leaving at 11 to go on holiday. It was like he was in a rush as he wanted to leave at 11. Bare in mind she sat in the chair at just gone 10am. He didn't make the experience great to be honest. We will be finding somewhere else in future.
First time Using D'Arcys: Service was the best I have ever had, had a real consultation, was told things about my hair I was unaware of. Went over different choices that would suit my hair, and left with the best hair cut I have every had! They have put all other barbers to shame in my opinion. They were very friendly hand a great chat during the whole session. Will be using again for all future hair cuts
I've been having my hair cut by Michael for many years. I've never had a bad haircut. Totally professional and reasonably priced. A great place to get a warm welcome and friendly service.
Ladies go for ear piercing! We were welcomed. We braved a men's space and was fully welcomed. A professional place space for proper timings, so you know where you are. Good hygiene. Each ear has its own individually wrapped gun and stud earring attached for extra hygiene and ready to go, once unboxed and unwrapped. It is placed onto the ear which was marked for guidance. Then pierced. Which can hurt. It is up to you to continue that hygiene on your piercing. It is of course easier with the extra cleaning solution that comes in a small bottle. Only a few pounds extra. All in all we were happy with the service and the gold or silver plated stud earrings. Great service that didn't take a long time. Thank you.
Update 26/11/22. Still going to Darcy's and still receiving 5 ⭐ service. Having read reviews on here about service that some have allegedly received in my opinion they aren't representative of D'arcy's and skewed to bring a bad light onto the shop. I can for one say that you'll get nothing but professionalism from D'arcy's and a fantastic hair cut to boot. 5⭐ Second time visiting having just moved to the area and this is by a country mile the most professional barbers in the area.
My daughter had her ear piercings here. We did not make an appointment, just walked in, and the gentleman was very kind and very careful about the treatment. He explained in great detail how to take care of it afterwards, gave us disinfectants and proper solutions. I am very happy with the service.
Got my ears pierced for the first time as a teen there, wonderful service! Everything was explained very well and with patience.
Really good barbers, close to my office. During the week not really a long wait. Never had any issues and they do what you expect cut hair. Haha. Ps: Cash only.
The piercer came across very rude. As soon as we walked in he said he wouldn’t be able to Pierce my daughters ears today as he’s too busy. But it says they don’t take appointments…. Because my daughter has feeding tubes he refused to piercer her ears. Which is ok that wasn’t the issue as not all establishments would feel comfortable doing soo. It was the way he did it , he was very loud and rude about it made it known to everyone in the shop that anyone that pierced her ears would be stupid and he said if he was us he wouldn’t even do it it’s silly. He told me not to bring her back. I most certainly will not ! My daughter is medically fit to have her ears pierced. I feel he could’ve dealt with the situation a lot better && simply just said he didn’t feel comfortable piercing a child with a health conditions or disabilities ears.
