    *Inclusivity doesn't mean riding roughshod over local people. Google alerted me to the 5,000 views here. Sadly, despite an approach to the University admin team, there has been no response. Everyone matters, not just the students, and I was a student once too! *** This beautiful location hosted many foreign visitors this summer. They went about in large groups and some became a nightmare for other bus users, when the 87 service was crowded. Whilst everyone is entitled to find a seat on the bus where there is space, it's not acceptable to be pushed aside no matter who you are, but in particular as a single, older traveller. And I was. And not to the credit of Uni coordinators, no one took any notice of my alert.

    Accepting the offer I got four years ago was by far the best decision I have ever made. It was indeed a demanding course, but everything was better that I could have imagined. All the departments were efficiently organized and the faculty staff were always highly professional, helpful and reliable. The support, finance and IT teams were always polite, swift and efficient. Every experience comes with struggles, but overall it was beyond great.

    Architecturally questionable at best, but the central layout around communal squares, surrounded by hundreds of acres of beautiful parkland makes this a wonderful place to spend 3 years in spite of that. I studied here over 30 years ago and it still retains its wonderful 'vibe.' Remains one of the better performing non Russell Group universities across all metrics. A great choice for decent people seeking higher education in supportive, wellbeing rich surroundings
