My little boy just started the baby ballet class and absolutely loves it. He comes out of his lesson excited to tell me what Miss Abi has taught him. Very welcoming atmosphere as soon as you walk in.
Fantastic family run school with a wealth of experience, they really nurture the individual. Whether you have a child that dances for fun or a child like ours who wants this for her career, every child is taught to their fullest potential whilst enjoying their classes. The teachers are kind, encouraging, and the lessons are fun. Thank you GSD for all the confidence, encouragement and enjoyment that you give to our daughter. You are all amazing.
Guildhall School of Dancing is a brilliant dance school - we moved our daughter to this school when she was about 6 when we moved to Norwich and from the start all the teachers and staff have been so welcoming and friendly and the standard of teaching is excellent - there is also so much variety and opportunity - my daughter now does modern enhancement as recently street dancing is on offer. The shows they put on are of the very highest quality and whilst they take the dancing very seriously the children have such amazing fun - at the end of the last show my daughter actually cried because it was all over and she didn't want it to end!
I have attended Guildhall School of Dance to study my DDE dance qualification in both modern and tap with training given by Francesca and Abi in a personal and professional manner. In addition to learning the required theory and dance syllabus, focus has been put on ensuring my well-being and increasing confidence in my approach to teaching and delivery of my own classes. Sessions are tailored to suit individual learning styles and help trainee dance teachers become the best they can be in their chosen profession. I genuinely believe I received first class training in a friendly, yet professional manner from some very experienced tutors which will form a great foundation for my future dance teaching career.
Over the past 15 years, GSD has become my second home. I have absolutely loved growing up there and being part of such a tight-knit community. Not only have I learnt the fundamentals of dance, but also a huge number of transferable life skills such as teamwork, self-discipline and perseverance.
Great dance school. We have been with the school for several years now and my girls absolutely love their ballet and tap lessons! The GSD team have done a brilliant job during the pandemic of keeping the classes going. They speedily set up online classes at the start of the first lockdown and helped keep the children engaged with associated craft ideas and little extra dance related challenges. When we were able to get back into the dance studio it was one of the most Covid secure places I have visited and they managed to keep it that way whilst still being a friendly and welcoming place for young children. I would highly recommend giving the classes a try! Thanks team GSD for all you have done and continue to do for your pupils during this challenging time. I hope to see you back in the studio soon!
