Taking classes with Kay has been an incredible experience! Her passion for belly dancing is contagious, and she creates an environment that’s both welcoming and inspiring (not to mention her great sense of humor) Even though I couldn’t attend all of her classes, the ones I did attend quickly became the highlight of my week. Her Wednesday sessions provided a sense of joy and community that made my time in Norwich so much better. Kay has a unique ability to make everyone feel included and confident, no matter their skill level. I’ll always remember her as the first person who taught me how to dance with scarves, a memory I’ll treasure forever. Kay is just the best teacher - so full of enthusiasm, energy and commitment! She is also a red-hot Egyptian dancer, and always innovative and fresh in her approach to the dances. Kay chooses great music which just makes me want to dance just by hearing it, and comes up with excellent choreography, which she very patiently teaches us during the lessons, as well as brushing up on our basic moves as well.
