    I’ve been going to Nick at The Barber Works for about five years now, back when he had just two chairs at the top of the stairs. From day one, the quality of his work and the welcoming atmosphere have been second to none. Nick and his team combine real skill with genuine friendliness, making every visit a pleasure. I go every two weeks without fail, so writing a review almost felt redundant, but I figured it’s about time I did. Consistency is everything, and Nick delivers every single visit. The whole team take pride in what they do, and it shows in both the results and the experience. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

    We popped into the bell plantation to go to the garden centre, and my other half dropped into the barbers for a quick hair cut. They were officially closed, but doing some training, and one of the students did the cut. It was fantastic. They listened carefully to what my other half wanted, and took their time on the cut. It’s the best cut he’s had in years! He highly recommends it, and will be returning for his next cut. We were also treated with a whiskey and a few proseccos which was the cherry on top!

    Called up last minute to get an appointment for my son, who’s hair had been messed up by another barber the day before. All I can say is thank you so much to Nick for sorting my sons hair, he now has a beautiful trim and is over the moon with his hair. Have already booked to come back in 6 weeks. Best barbers around!     Visited for the first time today for a hair cut, was welcomed and offered a drink, good service from the off set. Had my hair cut from Josh who is a lovely young man, making good conversation, not rushing and working with me to my desired look.     Great welcome, having building works done yet still making it work. Making everyone feel welcome and safe, offered drinks even though hair cuts were for boys(which is lovely). Josh has only been training a short while, but was great with my young lad and did a good job. Nick has always been great with my boys thank you. Easy to pay and rebook. Would definitely recommend. See you all again soon.
