   Wow! How refreshing to go to a vet practice where the whole team are so engaged, helpful, efficient and kind. Our consultation with Rob about our beautiful labrador Poppy was thorough, detailed, thoughtful and sensitive. We got no sense of being rushed or being pushed towards heavy interventionist approaches. From the initial phone call to the consultation itself we felt well looked after by a team who really care and who are experts in their field. Poppy liked them all very much. She did lick Rob quite a lot, but he seemed ok with that! Thank you all so much. We feel like we are in safe hands now.

   Just wanted to say a huge 'thank you' to Rob and his fabulous team who from the first day I met them for Hallie's initial consultation to 6 weeks later when we returned for her 6 week post op check up, were all amazing. I was so worried about how to get Hallie 'fixed' and how everything would work out, but I was given a full, clear explanation and most of all re-assurance that she would be fixed and soon 'back to normal'. Throughout the whole process everyone was supportive, kind and compassionate and most of all Hallie was always wagging her tail. I would highly recommend Coast Veterinary Referrals with the reassurance that you and your furry friend will be fully looked after should you ever require their services.

   Most dogs hate going to the vets but even when this guy had a broken leg and was sedated from pain meds, he would pull all the way there from the car, with his tail wagging, because he couldn’t wait to see them all again. If this doesn’t show how amazing their care and treatment of him was, I’m not sure what does. For such a small town it was a blessing to find a practice as professional and skilled as this one to perform his surgery, where you can truly tell how dedicated they are to their patients. The treatment he received from them is what is allowing him to live the fulfilled life he does now, which we weren’t sure was going to be possible. For that we are incredibly grateful and couldn’t recommend them enough.

   Outstanding care from Rob, and all, who put my 15yr old cat Mole's leg back together! I was kept fully informed, from the initial surgery, to the last check up, and all the team showed the same care and professionalism, on every visit. After several months in a cage, she is back to full health, though her keyboared skills haven't improved.:-) Thank you all so very much for looking after her!!

   My energetic six year old Border Terrier, Millie, damaged her left cruciate ligament during lockdown in January 2021. The local vet suggested resting Millie for 6/7 weeks to see it things improved. They didn't so I was referred to Rob at Coast Vet Referrals in mid March. Whilst waiting for the appointment Millie damaged her right leg cruciate chasing a pheasant! Rob examined and X-rayed Millie mid March and confirmed that both cranial cruciate ligaments were ruptured and she had unstable stifle joints. He agreed to perform a bi-lateral TPLO which was fully explained and done at the end of March. The operation was a huge success and Rob and his team are all very professional, caring and kind. Following a 2 night stay Millie was able to stand and discharged with clear instructions on post operative care. Would thoroughly recommend Rob and his team. I don't have pet insurance but the fully itemised cost of surgery was well worth the money as I now have a lively, energetic and crazy border terrier back to full health.

   Our dog had a limp but local vets did know why so we was referred to Coast VR and after they checked his xrays and then a careful examination within 16 minutes they knew the cause - cruciate ligament rupture. After our dogs op he was walking just like old times within 4 days. We now have 32 weeks of recovery to let the bones heal. All the staff have been wonderful and we cannot praise them enough.

   WHO NEEDS NOEL FITZPATRICK WHEN YOU HAVE COAST REFERRALS. Our little Molly needed an operation to fix her leg. We were referred to Coast and were made to feel at ease immediately. Coast carried out a tricky operation and have been very helpful when we have needed support with aftercare. We would recommend Coast referrals with confidence and would not think twice before using them again. Fantastic team. Thank you all at Coast referrals
