   I initially wrote a good review because the mistakes made were "corrected" however I've not had my nails done before and wasn't aware what was good and bad. First of all a man did my nails, he over filed 2 of the nails and didnt cut my nails short enough so i could still see them under the set, not only that but the colour didnt fully cover the nails on more than 3 of the nails. The over filing was corrected the next day and re painted much much better however i can still see my natural nails underneath and 2 fingers and my thumb that was over filed feel very tender as if my nails are digging into the skin. Its a shame as the people are lovely and welcoming but I don't think I will get my nails done again after this experience.

   I have been visiting this nail shop since I moved down this end of the city. Every time I have been hear the lady is always very friendly we spoke about plants her daughter my dating life as much as we could understand each other. I booked an appointment for a Tuesday at 11.50 as I had booked the day off. I arrived on time. As soon as I walked in the door before I even sat down her whole attitude changed towards, she was awful! I showed her a picture of what I wanted at the start of my nails and she said yes and everything I suggested like French nail tips but the tips glitter for Christmas she was like no we can’t do that, I suggested another thing she was like no.. in the end after she had taken my previous gel nails off and put the base coat on I asked her politely to take my base coat off and I will go somewhere else. Last year SHE suggested Christmas stickers etc for my nails etc this year she said no we don’t that anymore but very rude to me. No decent glitter colours or colours all the same. Doesn’t give you time to choose and gets impatient when you asked to see the colour first. I will not be returning hear and I have been coming hear for a year now. Next time you visit hear get the ear phones that translate I guarantee she will be speaking bad about you to her husband who sits next to her.

   The lady is incredibly rude. After I asked her nicely to do the French tip thin. She barely has any stock. I’ve never been to a nail shop where they ONLY have acrylic powder ??? and barely any gel polish. She told me to leave the shop with unfinished nails and I did. Better than being charged £40 for an acrylic overlay on my natural nails and gel polish. The nails were TERRIBLE. I went and paid American nails by Lee across the road, who did an excellent job of redoing the polish with the colour I ACTUALLY wanted. BEWARE.

   Treated myself and Mum to have nails done for my nieces wedding, booking was good and easy. Service really good, they were very nice and was a perfect experience.... one week on the nails still in place as look like they have been only recently done xxxx RECOMMENDED

   Great nail salon! I’ve been several times now and they always do a brilliant job with my gel nails, and there’s a huge choice of colours. It’s a lovely family run business and all the staff are welcoming, friendly and great at what they do ☺️ highly recommend.

   Was very accommodating when I couldn't make my appointment in time and rearranged for me the next day. Always listen to what I want and are exteemly patient with me when I want all the bells and whistles. Very friendly and I always leave feeling great about my nails and look forward to showing them off. I wouldn't go anywhere else!!

   Speedy, no frills service with excellent quality nails! I had gel polish on my natural nails two weeks ago and they still look perfect (just a bit grown out obviously!) - no chips in sight. Really pleased with this place, highly recommend and will definitely be back. Make sure you book as they are BUSY!!

   Love it here, they really pay so much attention to detail which you don’t see very often with the other slightly lower end nail salons. With other places I’ve been to I felt like they didn’t really care and just wanted you in and out as soon as possible but at MK Nails they really care to do exactly what you want and just how you want it and are really gentle (other places I’ve been to just rag your hand around but they’re really gently with you here). They’re always so friendly, talented and do the best job. They fixed a botched acrylic set I had done somewhere else, they infilled and changed the shape so they honestly looked brand new and so lovely, exactly what I wanted. Cherry on top is the value for money!
