I was involved in an accident and my car was taken to PJ Automotive by my insurers. They gave me a loan car and the staff kept me updated all through the process. They completed the work on my car to a very high standard and I'm really pleased with the repair. Thank you!

Took my vehicle in for repairs to my suspension - they carried out the work in the agreed timescale and at a very reasonable cost. Cannot fault them and would definitely recommend.

Recommended by local Kwik fit ⭐☆☆☆☆ Very Disappointed – Poor Service and Unprofessional Attitude I took my car to this garage to fix ongoing issues, but they completely failed to resolve the problem. Not only did they miss obvious faults that any competent mechanic should have identified, but when I pointed them out, I was met with denial and even accused of lying. I expected honesty and expertise, but instead got dismissiveness and poor workmanship. I had to take my car elsewhere, where another mechanic quickly confirmed the issues that this garage ignored. I strongly advise others to think twice before trusting this place with their vehicle. Lack of professionalism, accountability, and respect for customers. ---

Besides the indicators, windows, and headlights not working on my BMW, the rest of the functions were fine. I took my car to PJ Automotive, and they told me the diagnostic check would cost £120 + VAT, which I agreed to. The next day, they called and said they couldn’t identify the issue, and would need another 3 hours of labour £225 + VAT, costing around £400+ to check it thoroughly. I had no choice but to agree, as I couldn’t drive the car without indicators and headlights, so the problem had to be found and fixed anyway. The following day, they called again and said that after further inspection, the issue was with the footwell module and fuse box. They quoted £1,200 to repair the footwell module and replace the fuse box, or £1,500 if both were replaced. The price was too high, so I declined, paid £414 for the diagnostic and took my car back. I then brought my car to Miami Cool Car, where Jason simply used a diagnostic tablet and found the issue within 5 minutes. He confirmed it was a faulty footwell module, removed it, repaired it, and had everything sorted within 2 days, all for under £300, including a warranty for the repaired module. I still can’t believe the huge difference in both skill and cost between these two garages. Definitely won’t be going back to PJ Automotive again.

Charged for diagnosis of BMW - Misdiagnosed it, told me it was okay to drive and then car had catastrophic failure within 5 miles. Continued on wrong line of repair and I eventually had car recovered to BMw main dealer who fixed for a third (£1.6k instead of the £6-7k quoted) staff friendly and they helped with recovery, but completely got problem wrong and was charging well above dealer cost.

Great place! The guys and gals are top notch! They all know their stuff! If you want good knowledge and the right first time fix it's worth paying a little extra for! Great bunch!

I have used PJ's on multiple occasions. I find every single staff member an absolute pleasure to deal with! They can be relied upon for honest advice and competitive pricing and are always willing to accommodate your every need where possible!

Really rude and pompous bloke who answered the phone. I asked for a quote on a job that just needed the Labour doing. “We wouldn’t entertain that” was the answer. He went on to to explain that they would want to order the part and do a diagnostic, even though I explained the diagnostic and part had come directly from BMW. Clearly they just want to make as much money out of their customers as they can. Would never use them after this and would advise others not to.
