   I have come to this nail salon multiple times to get my toes done and even nails and have usually had a good experience. The work they have done in the past has been what I’ve asked for and some of the staff have been really polite and professional. However, unfortunately, today I came and asked specifically for a BIAB soak off. I said it multiple times and was directed to sit down. The staff member started to file down my nails as normal but got super close to the base of my nail. He got as close to the base of my nail as possible and then essentially told me he was finished, no soak off and still with so much product on my nails. I then said that I asked for a soak off and they tried to tell me that BIAB can’t be soaked off. I’ve been doing BIAB for 2 years, if it couldn’t be soaked off nobody would be able to do it in the first place. After a bit of back and forth they brought a bowl to soak my nails in. They let it soak for just 5 minutes (anyone who has had their nails done knows that it usually requires longer to soak them off) and then proceeded to try and use the harsh metal drill on my nails, even though I had just asked them to use the more gentle drill as they were incredibly close to my natural nails. They then started to argue with me about this all. I asked the main lady why she didn’t just tell me they can’t do the service when I first walked in and was very specific that I wanted a BIAB soak off. She continued to argue with me that BIAB won’t soak off no matter how long you put it in - which makes no sense because how else would you get it off? I explained to her that I’m a repeat customer and have always paid and never given any problems, but in this case I couldn’t just watch them damage my nails, so I left with the service unfinished. Anyways I went back in to get my water bottle, which I had left on the table and I got the biggest evil stare from one of the staff members. Unfortunately, even though I’ve come here multiple times, I won’t be going back again. There are multiple shops on Queensway and I don’t like the fact that when I tried to politely explain myself they kept arguing back and forth with me and essentially changing what they had originally said. My nails look TERRIBLE and the product still hasn’t been completely removed. When I tried to tell them, the lady even said ‘okay go back to where you got them done then’. Such a shame.

   Me and my daughter went to Bamboo Nails to get gel extensions, gel colour, and 3D nail art. This was our first ever time getting our nails done and the staff made it such a lovely experience for us both. I have terrible nails and skin around my fingers due to anxiety, and I felt really embarrassed about them, but the staff were so kind about it, and I hope that regular extensions and manicures will help break the habit. We shared photos of what we liked and came out with exactly what we wanted. The nail bar was clean and tidy, and we felt very safe in their hands. Highly recommend!

   My nails them self good however the pattern wasn't done quite right. but what was the worst part was that I was charged £48 for pretty simple nails. I have been there before and got my complex designs and it only cost £35. was massively overcharged and won't be returning UPDATE: just 2 days after getting my nails done one has broken and another completely come off. it looks as though the others are also starting to come off. also as shown in the video the top layer weirdly started peeling off which I have never seen happen before

   How amazing, I took two of my friends here for the first time only last week. What can I say, absolutely amazing. I received the best customer service on arrival, I was greeted by a beautiful young lady who offered us all soft drinks (which were needed in the weather), they then asked what treatments we were after and explained each one in detail and we were then taken to our seats!! I’ve been to so many different nail bars over my years in Milton Keynes but this is by far the best I’ve ever experienced! I highly highly recommend Bamboo Nails to anyone that’s after, good, professional and excellent treatments! Not only the treatments being amazing but the conversation that flowed through our all the treatments was also great!! The best nail bar in MK!!
