Sadly i chose this company to "repair" an electric BMW earlier this year. Like other's my vehicle interior was smeared with oil hand stains on the interior, the mechanic also decided to couple his phone to my vehicle car play.. However, this was only the beginning of a tale of incompetence and disregard for other peoples property. Having collected the vehicle i found that most of the charge port housing was missing. This took three visits to resolve and the parts Castle Garage used were clearly damaged and from a scrap vehicle. Until a recent repair to replace this i was unaware that Castle Garage had actually not assembled the car correctly (see photo). A few months after the repair the vehicle broke down over 80 miles away from my home. This was a direct result of the 12v battery terminals being left unsecured causing an electrical short. Some time later, the rear engine cover dropped off - because Castle Garage couldn't be bothered to fix the hex bolts correctly. At a service in September we found that the front wheel nuts had been overtightened to at least 240nm which meant more cost in fixing incompetence. Within the vehicle we found cables insecure and a whole series of fixings missing (photo). Again, seemingly due to a direct lack of care. I also paid, and was invoiced for BMW shock absorbers... however, they fitted a generic brand. Concerningly, the vehicle had recorded the mechanic carrying out work without isolating the HV system, which could have been fatal and cause damage. Do not be deceived by this garage being a HEVRA member...this is not an accrediting body, or a sign of quality. Other local HEVRA garages are available and seem to have experience of repairing the mistakes of Castle Garage.

Had an MOT on a Saturday, was very helpful, incredibly quick and very friendly. Communicating was great and would defo recommend. They were able to sort issues the same day which was brilliant! Only issue was had to pay in cash which was tricky but understand reasoning, just something to be aware of on saturdays.

I took my car to Castle Garage for an issue with air con and with one of my tyres. They were so friendly and helpful and completed the work on the same day - so so quick! I also felt the pricing was really reasonable too. A really great garage to have nearby and I would recommend them to anyone :)

Great service! Had my first MOT and needed new break pads, they got it all sorted for me on the same day and was reasonably priced! Very grateful for the team, thank you!

My car decided that it didn’t want to change gear anymore so I took it into the garage. The problem was quickly diagnosed with a clutch problem, which was horrifying to me because we all know a clutch is going to cost a pretty penny. The castle garage team were super helpful and explained everything to me in terms I would actually understand, and continued to update me on its progress. There were a few glitches along the way and a couple more parts needed ordering but they did everything they could to keep the costs down. I’d recommend this garage to everyone, the team are really friendly and I had full trust in everything they were doing. Now I have my car back and it runs better than it ever did, feels like a new car! Very happy with this service!!

I was driving on Liverpool road after picking up my children from school, when my car suddenly stopped (I only bought this car about 2 months ago). I tried restarting it but it didn’t work. The road was quite busy and I felt very unsafe standing still with 2 little children in the back. I looked to my right and saw Castle Garage and looked up their number on google and called them saying I’m on Liverpool road in a car that broke down. The lady on the phone was very helpful and only seconds after several staff came running out the garage towards my car and managed to get my car started and drove it to safety in their garage. When I went to collect the car the next day they even checked out the oil level to see if it’s all ok for me to drive it home and they didn’t charge me a penny. So hereby I want to say thank you Castle Garage for your kind help in such a stressful situation.

Great customer service from start to finish by the team here. Gave me a good price straight away, and told me the timescales. Repair quality was great, and communication positive. Good atmosphere and would 100% recommend.

AVOID. I had a spitting number 2 fuel injector. Took to this garage and they replaced number 3 injector for £515 and then confirmed number 2 also needed replacing for the same price. I cant say number 3 didn't, but number 2 was definitely the one which had the major issue and was what the car went in for. Having now had another garage fit number 2 injector for £370, (inc brand new injector), it looks very much like they used a reconditioned part rather than a brand new part which was quoted for. The injector they fitted was also sitting too high and on inspection it had two washers rather than one (they didn't remove the old one), it also hadn't even been programmed in. Even the invoice is incorrect as it says they replaced number 2 injector and not number 3. Seem like amateurs, i guess they will show their professionalism by apologising and offering me some of my money back, but i doubt it...
