    It was ok, I was hoping to get my feet soaked as you usually do when having a pedicure, but I didn't here, it was more of a waterless pedi, it was nice but also slightly weird. The young lady did a good job painting my nails. The manicure was also ok, and she did a good job shaping and painting my nails. The staff were all pleasant but I thought it was expensive for what you got.

    Very disappointed. I went in to beauty box and booked a gel nail appointment. I had a voucher and paid the extra. On the day of the appointment I rang early in the morning apologising because I couldn't make the appointment due to my daughter having been taken ill and I had to care for her young children. I didn't hear anything so later that morning I rang and was told that I had missed my appointment and there was nothing they could do. I explained again that my daughter was ill and I was caring for her children and also pointed out that the appointment had been fully paid for. I was told sorry nothing I can do you should have let us know earlier. I explained that my daughter had been taken ill that morning and obviously no way could I have predicted it before. I fully understand that people should be made to pay for missed appointments but not when there is a perfectly legitimate reason and not just time wasting. I truly am most upset to be treated in this way.

    Had been using the Beauty Box for years but always found gel nails didn’t last very long and I’d end up with one coming off then having to remove the rest myself - I just thoughts that’s what always happened with gel nails! I recently had my gel nails done somewhere else and asked why she did the pedicure at the end not the beginning, like the Beauty Box, and she said because the gels need to be applied to a completely dry nail - this probably explains why my gel nails never lasted long.
