Can not fault Crown recovery, I rang around for a couple of quotes and Crown were polite and a fair price. Came out to me over the Christmas period and arrived exactly when he said he would. Just moved to the area and unfortunately had a breakdown. After reading reviews I decided to contact Neil at crown. Even though I contacted him late at night, he replied straight away, and within 10 mins recovery was arranged for the next morning. Neil arrived promptly and advised me on the problem, and was quickly on the road taking my car to Stafford. The whole process was so smooth and Neil really is a lovely guy. Initially, I booked a breakdown recovery through a website called FastRecoveryService. A person named Mario promised to come a week before the date I booked and even confirmed the day before — but on the actual day, he said he couldn’t come. Then another person named John (from a WhatsApp account appearing as “Luxesocial”) also promised to arrive at 10 AM, later changed it to 1 PM, but never showed up. I was really struggling because I had an appointment at 2 PM, and no one else was available. Finally, I found Crown vehicle recover ( Neil Thronhill) on Google — and they were a lifesaver! They came to help me on short notice, arrived quickly, and took my car safely to the VW service station. Truly professional and dependable. I highly recommend Crown Service for anyone needing fast and honest breakdown recovery!

Great service and price, can't thank Neil enough. Transported my poorly Clio RS safely to Diamond Motors in Nottingham for some TLC (and a new engine as it turned out) earlier this week. Really impressed with the service provided. I was worried about the low front end on my car getting up onto the recovery truck but Neil was extremely careful & respectful and I was very pleased with the way he dealt with my car, there was never any risk he would've allowed the car to scrape and he came prepared with the right ramps, blocks etc and knew how to use the kit properly. He also arrived in less time that the AA quoted and was very fair on price. Highly recommended, I won't even bother calling AA next time I need recovery
