   You know that your guitar lessons are really working when you cant wait for your next lesson. Marty's lessons do that. Always professional with plenty of encouragement and an abundance of enthusiasm. We have covered such a wide a wide variety of topics on my journey, covering the basics as well as music theory, the scales and the transcription and nuances of playing songs as they were recorded. Marty's relaxed and insightful approach makes the lessons fun and enjoyable and he is always happy to listen and discuss if I don't fully understand a specific point. I can thoroughly recommend Marty as a guitar tutor.

   My guitar playing has progressed immensely since taking lessons with Marty. He has helped me understand key parts of music theory and playing technique, allowing me to work out chords and solos and keep time while switching between lead & rhythm. Due to lock-down restrictions we have now switched to online lessons. This has not detracted from the quality of teaching and is actually very convenient.. Highly recommended.

   The best way to learn guitar is through a good friendly professional teacher. Not all good guitar players can teach by Marty Drew can do both. Doesn't matter what you want to do, whether just to play a tune or go through a whole curriculum and take exams. Marty can show you the best way to achieve this. It's great knowing you can go at your own pace and with Marty's vast knowledge and patience you can certainly achieve your goals. I'm just about to complete my 2nd year with Marty and look forward to going through into Level 4 of the Rock School of Music. I couldn't recommend Marty enough so your shouldn't hesitate is giving it go.

   Marty is an absolutely amazing teacher with the patience of a complete saint. He must do, he works with me on a fortnightly basis and manages to maintain calm and always offers praise. His lessons are fun and you get to be taught by a fantastic tutor. I honestly cannot recommend Marty enough. If you are looking for an honest, kind hearted tutor you cannot go wrong by going to Marty.
