Stuart is top man very nice person good at his job. Mot is done to very high standard and first class test no messing round gets job done
What a shame that a company with such a good reputation has become so bad. We gave them the benefit of the doubt the first time as eventually we got our landrover back (4 weeks later than promised) . They had completed the job and at a fair price, however in that 4 weeks they were impossible to get hold of for updates. But we recently left our vehicle there for a minor job, it took 3 weeks for this simple job! We failed to be able to contact them in spite of daily calls, Good price (£80) but they didn't do another specific job they promised to do, and missed something major they should have noticed. Being without a car for work was a major financial problem. Unfortunately the lads there really seem to have a couldn't care less attitude and we will not be using them again.
My first visit to MVR upon recommendation. Car was booked in for MOT at 10.00am conpleted at 10.30am. Staff really helpful. Part was needed, I collected it and it was then fitted and my car then passed the MOT. The positives are: Professionalism, Value and Staff wanting to help you. Definitely recommend. Many thanks.

MOT while you wait!!!! Absolutely superb service
Started off really well with this garage. They were brilliant for work at short notice and good on price. However, recently, they've had 2 occasions with serious let downs. Firstly sent a car in for injector replacement, they kept fobbing me off with excuse after excuse and never did replace the injectors. The car ended up bursting into flames. Then this week booked a car in for mot, was told a day and time. Arrived there for the correct slot and was told I was a day early. So left the car there for the correct (in their minds) day and time... the car still had not moved and has not seen an mot ramp. Been promised it would be MOT tested today a day after their slot they say I had, still not even moved. So taken it away, while it was there it has gained a puncture. I would have recommended this place couple of months ago, I now will never set foot in there again and I do wonder what the quality of the repairs they are doing to customers vehicles is like. The worst thing is all the other garages in Newport send their vehicles here for the MOT test. So now need to look outside of my town for an mot due to the incompetence of this company.
