Absolutely ridiculous attitude from the receptionist. Asked us to complete a Money Laundering Document to undertake a search, in the next breath advised us having literally 12 days ago moved into rented accommodation that as our Driving Licences wouldn’t March, we would fail the search. When asked what they do if a customer doesn’t have a driving license, the receptionist couldn’t answer. Having attempted to use and support a local business, we went to another solicitors, with no issues, user friendly and supportive. Having just sold a property, to enable ourselves to be chain feee and effectively cash buyers, we thought it would be relatively straight forward. We were made to feel second rate, no clear guidance. A bit like Little Britain “Computer Says NO”. Well we said NO!! Not a good introduction to a business we were initially quite happy to spend £1,500 with to undertake the conveyancing on our new property.
I found them to be very good firm of solicitors, always a pleasant welcome from receptionist.
We're using C&H for our daughters divorce and so far they have been tenacious and cost effective, very pleasant to deal with , very precise and plenty of attention to detail , so overall they get 5 stars.
