   I had an issue with my laptop recently that required a new bit of hardware to be fitted, another shop in Lewes said the part was not available and therefore it couldn't be fixed, so I thought I would try and get a second opinion before having to purchase a new laptop. Luckily I contacted Charles who knew a supplier that sold the hardware, he also cleaned it up and got rid of some old software slowing it down, it is now working like brand new, highly recommended.

   Charles is a friendly, professional guy who fixed my hotmail issues that had malware, the very same day. He even cleaned the fan, which was filthy and increased the efficiency of the laptop, all for free! Really pleased with the service and wouldn't hesitate to contact Charles again with any further issues 10/10!

   My PC died unexpectedly after a Windows Update and despite trying numerous things that had worked before, refused to come back to life. I was left with the prospect of losing years of unsaved data. Fool me. In a blind panic, I came across Charles and Lewes Computer Repair due to his outstanding Google reviews and begged for help. He responded instantly and within minutes he had reassured me he could retrieve the data, even if the Desktop was a goner. But he went several steps further, restoring my PC to its former state, only better, updating the drivers, cleaning it up and making it work like it hadn't done in years. The repair cost, while not cheap for my modest means, was very reasonable, especially considering I knew that Charles had spent many more hours working on it than he ended up billing me for. Charles-Antoine is friendly, reliable, charming, knowledgeable, not averse to a bouteille of Medoc, does part-time DJ-ing and has a Latin family motto that dates back to the Dark Ages. How many ace computer fixer-uppers can tick all those boxes?! Joking aside, I will never look anywhere else for computer repairs. Thank you Charles, you're mon sauveur.

   I recently used Charles at Lewes Computer Repair to fix a very worrying blue screen error that was repeatedly happening on my computer. He found the problem, upgraded the drives and also my operating system and I was honestly surprised at how reasonably priced the whole job was. When someone has your computer you're kind of at their mercy and it is nice to know that he can be trusted to provide good service in a situation like that. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Charles. A thoroughly decent chap. I will definitely be using him again.

   I tried iconic computers, which was not the best service provided by them, and was a massive waste of time. Found Charles after a quick search. Quick message, exchanged everything via text, and he swiftly ordered the parts I needed. Once the parts arrived, made a quick call and dropped the laptop off. He repaired it on the same day. Top notch service. For as long as I live in lewes, Charles will be the go-to person for any laptop issues.

   Sent an email enquiring about a replacement battery for my 2015 MacBook Pro 13”. Received no reply so phoned a few days later and had a chat with Charles. He told me he was looking into it. A week passed with no reply so I emailed again but nothing. Obviously won’t be using them!

Needed a new laptop within a budget and Charles provided me with a super fast second hand as new computer for me within 24 hours.
