I recently had another check up undertaken with Alex. Having been a client of the Practice for some considerable years, I was very concerned when Sheila Fairly retired last year (who I always considered to be a first class dentist), having some apprehension regarding how I would find her successor. Happily, this concern was completely misplaced. I have found Alex to similarly be an excellent professional, having a very friendly and pleasant manner and demonstrating excellent competence and experience in her field. I would particularly commend her communication skills, and the detailed commentary with which she carries out her work, clearly explaining her proposed actions and the reasoning behind same.
I've recently had my first appointment at Cottage Dental and I am delighted with the whole experience. From my first phone call to make enquiries through to my visit, every one has been both efficient and friendly. The place itself is really well furnished and has up to the minute equipment. Altogether, a very pleasant experience.
New owner Sandy did a filling for me. The best dentist I have ever seen by far. Lovely manner, funny, incredibly competent and put you at your ease. And it didn’t hurt. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.
James was great, dealing patiently with a calified root canal when my usual dentist had had to refer me. Added a post and temporary crown as the tooth was weaker than expected at no additional cost. Highly highly recommended, a painless and professional service and a pleasant chap as well.
Rude male dentist, doesnt do fillings when have tooth ache. Instead insits on sentisive teeth - obviously not confident with his own work! Who has since left!
I have been really happy with this practice for many years. Unfortunately I have moved away. I hope I can find someone as understanding.
