   These people are horrific. The ladies working there are nice but the men are horrible and rude. Tried accusing me of stealing a plastic Costa cup, so went up to pay them they tell me I don’t have to pay for it? Then after refuse to check out my items? Gave them a good cussing before I left because what type of weirdos do that. Don’t go here.

   Don't go there if you are looking for a quick service post because there are always max 3 customers, but the woman in there is super slow... luckily for the people around, there aren't many people because if it's that slow with 3 people, imagine with 10...

   Great little store with a huge selection of goods at reasonable prices. Self serve coffee station inside, very handy.... hot chocolate was delicious. Friendly and helpful staff.

   Really nice local store. It has all you could need with some items I've not found elsewhere. Very friendly staff who will always help to find what you want. Do your main shopping wherever you want, but come here for things you forgot, can't find elsewhere, didn't know you need, or want at the last minute. I would have given a 5/5, but I gave a 4/5 because it is a bit expensive. Certainly not Aldi, but more an old style Waitrose. Try it, though, you will enjoy it.

   Worst costumer service i ever seen they want it to over charge me if I didn’t ask for recipe they would ignore me , when i asked for money back and to apology’s to me they rescued to say soo ,, shame on them never agin and I don’t suggest to anybody to go there … Hope so the big boss will see this and check the camera to se what sort off rude staff he got .

   Lots off lil hidden gems like snacks from abroad at quite reasonable prices. Plus, they have a post office in store. The staff will help & give people the time off day + assist to the best off their ability. The shop loses a star, as it's a bit awkward to navigate around if your in a wheelchair/pushchair or mobility scooter. As I have an uncommon bowel condition, i asked to use the bathroom after showing my Can not Wait Bladder & Bowel card & was swiftly denied, despite explaining my circumstances. Oh & 1 last, thing, it's handily placed near North Wing bedford hospital + Gilbert Hitchcock house & quintessentially, less than 5 minutes walk away from the respective bus stops.

   Can someone ask Ali why he thinks his staff should stand throughout the whole shift? Is there any reason other than your own sense of entitlement that you can sit in the back of the store whilst you make others stand for no reason? Have some self reflection this Christmas

   Budgens has everything you could need. The prices are higher than other convenience stores but they have a much larger variety of goods. For instance, there's a great bakery section, fresh flowers, fresh fruit and veg, a great selection of cupboard staples and snacks, ready meals, lunch options, the list goes on! Not all of these are overpriced, the cupboard staples (soup, ready made sauces, etc.) were the things that seemed to have the main price bump. The staff are always friendly and the shop is clean and well stocked whenever you go in. It also has a Post Office and cash machine!

   Most of the staff, especially the blonde lady who is genuinely friendly and helpful are great... the management/owners leave a lot to be desired. Went to do the lottery and the pens did not work so asked if I could borrow one or just give them the numbers and refused. Eventually managed to get one explained that they were losing custom and then managed to get one, when I returned with the lottery tickets he snatched the pen out of my hand and took the tickets to put through the machine and no thanks or chat. Definitely a case of Napoleon Syndrome
