I love Heron, always has a great selection of all types of bargains which is brilliant, but when it comes to customer service, awful. There was no 'hello' or 'thanks have a nice day' you know, basic friendliness and manners. What I got was not a single word untill 'want a bag' 'how you paying' 'need receipt'. That was it. Proceeded to hand me the receipt while looking the other way while dangling it in the air. 5 stars for the store itself, but 0 stars for customer service.

Been shopping at heron for years, Shop there frequently. Never really had an issue. Disappointed with the service at the till this evening. Joined the que with my two young children who wanted to purchase a small thing each with their money. They were quite clearly waiting with me but once I had been served, the women at the till told them she was just serving me and they would now need to que behind the person at the other till. There was no one else behind my children. They were quite confused as we waiting there all together to be served. It would have taken an extra minute to quickly scan their one item each.
Always forget about this place as it's not on a route I travel regularly, went with my daughter and picked up a few bits and pieces. Good prices.
Handy and friendly staff(to me), small shop but always pick up surprises especially if went in for 1 item. Busy around lunchtimes due to six formers from Sir Christopher Hatton pupils in term time.
Wonderful store, lovely staff, great products, great prices. Plenty of parking. Love the Excell freezers, never know what you are going to find but always good value. Good Barnardo's charity shop next door.
Really useful shop. The main problem with it is that you never know what they will have in stock when you go, so you can't rely on here to do your weekly shop, you still have to go to a normal supermarket.
It's Easy to park and is well stocked. You can always find something to buy. Most prices are great but do have to take note as dates can be very short, but a great little shop!
