    We are huge fans of The Store and make regular visits to stock up. I have to admit to being somewhat of a sceptic to the concept, however, having purchased a range of products I am an absolute convert to their fantastic approach. The quality of produce is noteworthy, I would typically buy herbs, spices and grains from the big supermarkets, however, the supermarket products simply don’t compare to the Store’s offerings. Just give the cinnamon or paprika a try and you will see what they are supposed to taste like and they are also no more costly than the supermarket equivalent (cheaper in fact!). Also, who would have thought that black rice was a thing, give it a try you won’t regret it.

    The Store is an eclectic cornucopia of environmentally friendly stuff at very reasonable prices. It could be seen as primarily a refill store and it is that with a broad selection of flour, nuts, seeds, grains, pasta, spices, tea, coffee, soaps, shampoos and household cleaning products all to decant into your own containers. However, The Store is also a source of environmentally friendly household goods such as shaving products, tinned food, fresh free range eggs and sourdough bread baked locally. The future of earth friendly shopping is on St Cuthbert's Street now. Get there before all the delicious chocolate sells out.

    Love the Store and the sustainable products they offer. Always go there for nuts and grains and they also have a nice selection of chocolate that is sustainable and fairly sourced. Love the brownies from Radeks too!

We’ve enjoyed seeing the range expansion and found the development of a click and collect service really useful over the pandemic.     I love this shop! Great selection of organic nuts and sundries, baking goods, teas and coffees...as well as a few nice home and beauty bits. I regularly buy maple syrup, local honey, WGAC toilet roll, and all my spices and porridge oats. Rosanna is really friendly, and she also carries a few nice gift bits - liked beautiful bouquets and posh chocolate, if you need a quick gift for someone that's good to the earth.
